As a trans masculine drag queen and sideshow pin cushion bending gender all around New York, they have made their mark with performances and productions based in emotional catharsis, whether it be founded in sadness or laughter. Tiresias is a hybrid writer, director, composer, performer, puppeteer, curator, producer, mythmaker, shapeshifter, drag-thing, songbird, ritualist and oracle based in Brooklyn. Called “a rara avis of experimental theatre” by The New Yorker and “one of the most enchanting performers in New York City” by The Brooklyn Rail, their work explores q***r ecologies, weird mythologies, and speculative futures.

NYC’s Premiere Taxidermy Showcase and Competition!

Join us at The Bell House as artists and taxidermists from across the nation fill you with awe and wonder as they compete in a spectacular showcase of the beautiful and bizarre. A cabinet of curiosities come to life! Celebrate the art and science of taxidermy with your hosts for the night Baron Ambrosia, the Explorer’s Club culinary ambassador notorious for his annual wild game dinners, and Divya Anantharaman, NYC’s award winning taxidermist, world traveling instructor, and coauthor of “Stuffed Animals: A Modern Guide to Taxidermy”. Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion-GO WILD!

All ticketed guests will receive a special gift at the door. All advance tickets are automatically entered in a raffle to win a variety of skulls, taxidermy, taxidermy classes, and more. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased day of.
