Another creator bringing our 5-year journey full circle is watercolor artist Peter Bass (Peter Bass)!

Peter has been part of the Brighton Bazaar since at least the summer of 2022. Having day-one artists return as we celebrate our 5th anniversary and our 120th market milestone makes taking over Harvard’s Allstonway Park feel like a true homecoming for our community.

Peter creates breathtaking watercolor paintings and original 2D art that capture incredible texture, light, and depth. Whether you are looking for a serene fine art piece to elevate your living room walls or a vibrant original watercolor to add to your collection, his booth is an absolute must-visit.

Come say hello to a true Bazaar original, browse his beautiful collection, and celebrate five years of local art with us this weekend!

Celebrating 5 years of The Brighton Bazaar wouldn’t feel complete without one of our day-one legends: Anni Abbruzzese of The Little Astronaut (Little Astronaut)! 🚀✨

Anni (they/them) is a long-time Bazaar poster artist alum who has been sharing their world with our community since the early days of our journey. Over the years, their work under The Little Astronaut has captured the imagination of Bazaar regulars, blending 2D illustration, books, comics, and mixed-media art into storytelling that feels equal parts nostalgic, cosmic, and deeply personal.
As we cross the milestone of our 120th market and step into Harvard’s Allstonway Park for the very first time, having early-era creators like Anni in the lineup brings everything full circle.

Stop by their booth this weekend to say hello to a true Bazaar veteran, browse their latest comics and prints, and celebrate five years of community, art, and growth together!

Celebrating 5 years of The Brighton Bazaar means bringing together the incredible creators who have shaped our journey, including poster artist alum and longtime vendor Casey Williams of Luminoom (Luminoom)!

Casey (she/her) is a self-taught relief printmaker and longtime Brighton local who previously designed artwork for the Bazaar. Her work specializes in hand-carved linoleum prints that weave together an eclectic mix of inspirations, ranging from medieval manuscript illuminations, mythology, and folklore to fan-favorite movies and video games.

Beyond her signature linocuts, Casey brings her artistic touch to embroidery, digital illustration, watercolor, and book design—skills she even puts to work illustrating covers in her day job for an academic publisher. Having poster artist alumni like Casey back in the lineup makes our 5th birthday at Allstonway Park even more special. Swing by the Luminoom booth this weekend to pick up a detailed relief print, chat about folklore, and celebrate five years of local art together!
