For over 10 years, SMIGS Community Softball has remained committed to growing the game of softball in Auburn and giving back to our community. Through our tournaments and fundraising efforts, SMIGS has donated over $100,000 to local organizations and individuals facing difficult times.
As many of you know, in 2026 SMIGS took over operation of the City softball league. While this has come with its fair share of challenges, it has also created incredible opportunities to improve the program and the facilities for everyone who plays and supports softball in Auburn.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and volunteers, we have already completed several major upgrades at Casey Park, including:
🥎 Improving and repairing the playing surfaces
🥎 Installing a brand-new fence on Field 2
🥎 Replacing bases
🥎 Making additional field and safety improvements
And we’re just getting started.
Now, we need your help.
We are currently looking for 8 local Auburn businesses to sponsor teams for our upcoming tournament. With your support, our next major project will be the installation of a protective safety net between Field 1 and Field 2 to help protect spectators from home run balls and improve overall safety at the complex.
This is one of several exciting upgrades we have planned, and every sponsorship helps move us closer to that goal.
