Howdy! We know it’s a lot of folks’ first convention, so we’re putting together some first timer’s guides to provide you will helpful tips and insight that we all wish we knew when we went to our first one!

Our fourth guide is doozy and covers all the events happening at the convention: our schedule, socials, theme nights, fundraisers for our selected q***r beneficiaries, vendors, dance competitions, and much much more! This is a huge guide, so take your time reading it and get ready for the Hoedown because we’ve got it packed to the gills!

Did you want another twist?? Our all-star line up of Hoedown South instructors, DJs, and performers has one more reveal! We are beyond honored to have an Atlanta legend join our staff: Scott Schrank, out of retirement for one convention only! Community favorites The Mavericks of Houston, TX will grace the performance stage, as well as first timers and fast friends, Asheville’s newly formed Hellbenders! We’re excited with our entire line up and want to give a big thank you to all of our staff for answering the call and helping make Hoedown South the place to be! We are seeking health professionals interested in being designated as part of a Medic team during Hoedown South.

The only commitment needed is a short orientation prior to the weekend where we will discuss emergency plans and willingness to step up and help direct health related situations in the event that one were to arise.

Sign up by completing the Medic Volunteer Form on our website (link in bio) and we will be in touch a few weeks before the event to communicate orientation details.

Note: This is not a role that will be counted toward volunteer hours

Happy Pride Month, y’all! Throughout the month of June, our regular event pricing will be in effect. But once we get down to the last 30 days, July 1st, our pricing will switch to our Bless Your Heart rate at $185 for pre- and at the door registrations!
