NYC just unveiled a bold new Urban Forest Plan aimed at expanding tree canopy coverage from 23% to 30% by 2040 to fight rising heat, improve air quality and address long-standing inequities in underserved neighborhoods.

🌱 Planting millions more
🌱 Engaging residents as stewards of the city’s urban forest
