Calling all future leaders! 👑❤️🤍💙
Are you interested in running for Athens County Fair King or Queen? Join us for a Candidate Prep Workshop on July 8th at 6:30 PM in the Secretary’s Office!

We will be offering mock interview practice, resume and application review, and a public speaking portion to help candidates feel confident and prepared before the contest.
This workshop is designed for King and Queen candidates, but is also open to any youth who would like extra practice for 4-H project judging, public speaking, or future leadership opportunities.

Come practice, ask questions, receive helpful feedback, and build your confidence before the big day!

A huge thank you to Bradyn O’Rourke from Troop 364 out of Nelsonville for choosing the Athens County Fairgrounds for his Eagle Scout project!

Bradyn spent countless hours giving back to our fair community by painting the grandstand bleachers and helping make our grounds look their best for everyone who visits. We truly appreciate his hard work & dedication.

🎶 The Creekers are coming to the Athens County Fair!

Join us **Monday, August 10th** for a night of live music with The Creekers right at the fairgrounds. This is going to be an unforgettable fair concert you won’t want to miss!

Grandstand seating will be **first come, first served** and is included with your regular gate admission—so just come early and grab your spot.

If you want a more up-close concert experience, **pit tickets are available now** and can be purchased ahead of time through the link provided.

Get ready for an amazing night of music, energy, and fair fun—see you there! 🎟️🎶

The pre-sale concert pit area is designed for an immersive experience, allowing attendees to be close to the stage. This area typically offers standing room only, enhancing the energy and excitement of the performance.

The Athens County Fair is officially in full prep mode for the 2026 fair season! 🎡🏆

We are currently looking for any 4-H clubs, businesses, organizations, or individuals who would be interested in helping sponsor awards & prizes for this year’s fair. 🐖 **Swine Show Down at the Fairgrounds!** 🐖

Mark your calendars for the Athens County Swine Show Down happening June 12th–13th at the Athens County Fairgrounds!

This event is **open to everyone**, so whether you’re a seasoned exhibitor or just getting started, we’d love to see you in the ring!

• Friday: Arrival & check-in
• Saturday: Showmanship, breeding, and market classes

🏕️ Camping & trailer hook-ups available for $25/day
