The lessons are essential ones to consider and implement at every event. This impor tant session provides practical information and a format for designing a comprehensive Access Program for your festival/event. What are important but often forgotten aspects of a well-managed Access Program? Are you required to accommodate every request? What are some low-cost solutions? Helping to avoid litigation by being prepared.

Melanie Cawthon is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of disABILITYsa, a nonprofit organization (and TFEA member) dedicated to advancing inclusion and opportunities for people with disabilities and older adults in San Antonio. With over two decades of nonprofit leadership experience, she has spearheaded initiatives like the Mobile Changing Station, Fiesta Especial® and AccessAbility fest, and has played a pivotal role in developing programs that promote accessibility and engagement for individuals with disabilities throughout the community.
