The Darkside distance of has it's own unique vibe Friday evening. The athletes show up know they will leave in just a few hours on an all night adventure through the Flint Hills of Kansas. They've thought about it all day, made the drive, checked in, enjoyed the 4H Pasta dinner and chatted with friends...the Darkside just in front of them.

150 miles of Flint Hills starry skies and just under 10k in elevation gain.

Will you be there in 2026??

has been a part of my gravel existence since 2012 when I picked up a bike. I remember at the local area events and seeing these riders in their bright yellow and purple kits and thinking...why are there so many LSU football fans in cycling??

As a cyclist, I appreciate the max attention to my sensitive areas. Seriously thanks for caring so much ! 🧈 🤴

As a promoter, I appreciate all the energy and excitement brings to the gravel party! 🥳

I joke of course. Steve, Mitzi, Kara, Curt, Andy and the entire Chamois Buttr family put an enormous amount of passion and care into supporting the gravel world! They do the work so we can have the fun!!!
