Imagine the finish line at our event just an hour north of Dallas where you will celebrate the end of 2026 and the start of 2027. Set your goals NOW, achieve them on 12/31, 1/1, or on both days with multiple distances and two days of races!

LET'S GET READY TO REGISTER! New Years Double opens registration tonight at 8 PM CDT. The lowest bib numbers and lowest entry fees await those who register the earliest! Be part of the crowd that wants to make New Year's plans with us year after year!

16th annual New Years Double opens registration Wednesday night! I know the year 2027 feels like light years away but make your plans now of how you want to start the year. With multiple race choices on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, and a bonus for doing both days, there's a way to celebrate the end of 2026 and the start of a brand new year!

Two days of run events (New Year's Eve and New Year's Day), with beautiful race shirts and finisher medals for everyone. There's also a special perk for those who complete multiple running events over the two days – we know how runners love their bling!

Two ways you could be doing awesome things in 2 weeks…
💜 Option A - run Cross Timbers Trail Run on March 7. From a 5 miler up to 50K, and choices inbetween, it’s gorgeous scenery and beautiful weather for a run or hike!
💜 Option B - volunteer at the race and earn free race credits so you can run New Years Double for free this year!

North Texas Wildlife Center’s volunteers served as your aid station providers out on the race course and received an $1800 donation from us for their help! Your race participation helps your community! While they helped 4,350 animals in our area last year, there’s always more help needed so please support their efforts by following them on social media, educating yourself on what to do if you find an animal in distress, and donate so they can do so much more!
