We’ve collected a bunch of news surrounding the Zeitgeist 2026 line-up! May these new releases fill your playlists with excitement for December 5th 💛➡️

Cobrah releases the deluxe edition of her debut album titled “Torn - Apart” with new tracks “Touch of an Angel”, “Apex”, the previous released “Sign From God “and “For You” as a bonus track.

SILVERWINGKILLER releases their second EP called “DESPERATE STRUGGLE” with previous releases “WORLDSTAR”, “GUNMAN CORNER” and “SHANG FILM” in combination with two new tracks: “KID AFRICA” and “电子水稻田 (E-SILT)”.

Little Grandad releases new single “A Minute On The Lips”. The track will open the band’s awaited record release, set for January 22nd. The lyrics capture the story of a man who’s already blown his chances during a love affair.

Berlin-based duo The Nightclubs, made up of Sophie Soraya and Hermie Hemlock, channel a sharp, nostalgic energy through a modern electronic lens, drawing from the glitchy edge of electroclash and the sleek pulse of ’70s and ’80s synth-pop.

Their latest single “CD-R” pairs pulsing synth hooks with glitch & 8-bit textures. It’s about the ritual of making someone a mixtape: selecting the tracks, burning the disc & handing over a piece of your listening life.

Blurring the line between concert and party, their performances centre around analogue hardware and an energetic, instinctive stage presence.

With a string of releases on the horizon, The Nightclubs are carving out their place in a lineage that includes Ladytron, Crystal Castles and Miss Kittin.

Blanco Teta from Argentina creates punk performances so visceral, they are perhaps best described as watching the force of a natural disaster come to live.

Feel the dark rage emit from their 2025 release ‘La debacle de las divas’, breaking bones with their extreme avant-garde experimentation.

With visceral vocals, thunderous bass and distorted cello, Blanco Teta invites you to join them on their warpath.

La Debacle De Las Divas might sound relentless, distorted and overall like a kick in the gut, but is also dedicated to the Flixbus and the working-class divas.

SILVERWINGKILLER 🌍’s sound is a collision of cultures and technologies: world music influences twisted through analogue arpeggiators, aggressive basslines, frantic live breakbeats, and vocals bouncing between English and Chinese.

Sonic assault in its purest form. Chaotic, and impossible to ignore.

With themes of science fiction and deep cut video games, the duo bring an otherworldly yet deeply human perspective to their work.

Their shows are equal parts punk ferocity and electronic experimentation, demanding the audience move, react, and invite us to witness the intensity head on.

Oui! After fifteen years of touring the world with La Femme, frontman MARLON returns to the stage with tasty solo work. 🌟

His album “Dark Star” released earlier this year and encapsulates Marlon’s vast mix of rockabilly, punk, cold wave and psychedelic psychobilly genres.

With tracks both in French and English, sixties guitars, an eighties “synth orgy,” powerful drum machines, analog delays, and a deliberately raw energy, Marlon creates a fantastical world complete with extravagant outfits and a high danceability rate.

Any of Marlon’s music videos should be taken as outfit inspo for Zeitgeist 😎

M(h)aol invites us to sit with the heaviness of the world. “Something Soft”, M(h)aol’s album released in 2025, is anything but. It’s a noisy kick in the back of gender norms. It’s a loud scream into the void. It’s the soundtrack of persistence.

The Irish intersectional feminist firebrands of M(h)aol consisting of Constance Keane (drums/vocals, she/her), Jamie Hyland (bass/vocals, she/her), and Sean Nolan (guitar, he/him), are known for their engaging and cathartic live performances.

Last month they released their single “Scam Manifesto”. The title refers to the SCUM Manifesto, written and self-published by American radical feminist Valerie Solanas. M(h)aol’s Scam Manifeto is about the difference between what Keane says about how every woman has the right to be as old and unglamorous as she wants, and what she says to herself on about her own appearance. In true M(h)aol fashion it’s one of those heavy songs that invites you to sit with the feelings it conjurs.

“‘Snare’ is about countless conversations I’ve had since my first drum lesson on my ninth birthday about how bizarre it is that I play that instrument, or how I should be doing it differently,” recalls lead vocalist and drummer Constance Keane. “The idea of society gendering an inanimate object like a drum kit, when it’s something that brings me so much joy and release, has always frustrated me hugely, and I thought it was time to sing about it.”

For half a decade, Zeitgeist has stood proudly at the crib of new, potentially groundbreaking and truly “zeitgeist” acts. These are the last names we’re announcing for Zeitgeist 2026! ⚡️

Sometimes, the zeitgeist does not change. Sometimes, the zeitgeist from 40 years ago perfectly lines up with the zeitgeist of the modern age. Tedje en de Flikkers might have had their last show in Doornroosje in 1980, but their message is still relevant. Q***r, punk and angry. Fighting for change we still desperately need and cementing that pride is a protest. ✊

Tedje en de Flikkers return to the stage at Zeitgeist for a very special liveshow.

Tedje van Asseldonk wanted to form an all-female punk band. Thijs Maasen moved into the house where she lived in Nijmegen; he had a relationship with Marty P.N. van Kerkhof. A solid dynamic developed between them. Tedje was already proficient on the keyboards, while the others still had to learn to play their instruments. Tedje set Marty’s poems to music, and the band began performing. Highly provocative in their nature, their shows included fireworks, band members dressed in B**M gear or completely naked, foul language and exhibitionism. In 1979, the band released their only album.

At the time, a local newspaper described the debut album as follows: “The term ‘music’ does not apply here, as everything is delivered so wretchedly that one might genuinely begin to question the mental faculties of certain individuals.” Well-known tracks included “Op de baan” (chorus: No idle chatter or deep conversation | Just s*x on the job) and “Van Agt” (Women and f**s need t

It’s a very special day today as we announce the closer of our Red stage: Cobrah🖤! 🖤

The club is our home, and knocking at the door is a latex wearing do******ix called Cobrah. The Swedish singer, songwriter and record producer might have started out as a primary school teacher, but will teach Zeitgeist a whole different lesson. One of s*x positivity, q***rness and utter self-expression. With her self-dubbed ‘B**M-pop’, she arrives strapped with pumping bass and leaving us (ball)gagged.

It’s obvious that she’s a superstar on the rise with music that reminds of FKA Twigs, Charli xcx and SOPHIE. Cobrah’s electro hits are heavily influenced by her experiences in the kink, vogue, and punk communities. Making her music inherently political and personal.

Her debut album “Torn” released earlier this year and shows that behind the q***r club bangers, Cobrah is also a vulnerable woman navigating a complex world.

The album blasts open with Cobrah baring her skin on “Torn,” which showcases the discomfort that comes with emerging into a new, unfamiliar version of yourself. “I leave it all behind me,” she sings, as metallic synths stutter as if they’re flashing strobe lights or the vertebrae of a spine being pulled apart.

“I was trying to explore a new sound,” she says of the track. “It feels like something’s tearing when you want to stick to something that you know you’re so attached to, that feels so ‘you,’ but you also want to develop and move on.”

About “Dog,” Cobrah says it “breaks the softness” of the other tracks. On one hand it’s signature Cobrah: “it’s a ‘f**k me’ song, there’s no singing, it’s quite rough and graphic,” she says. But when reading deeper past her do******ix delivery and gothic production, it reveals her admitting something she’s never expressed before on a song: her true desire to settle down with a lover and be with them until the “grave.”
