That’s a wrap on DDW26! 🔥

This year’s R.A.W. edition brought design back to its essence: experimental, unpolished and unafraid to challenge the familiar.

A big thank you to all the designers, participants, partners and visitors who made this edition possible!

We’re already looking forward to next year! DDW27 will take place 23–31 October 2027. Mark your calendars!

A former Coca-Cola warehouse filled with unexpected design? Welcome to Auto Vitesse! 🪑

During DDW26, this former industrial building in Eindhoven transforms into a creative space where furniture, everyday objects and experimental design come together.

Eindhoven-based design collective Huis Saai presents Lean On., an exhibition exploring the relationship between our daily routines and the spaces we call home. Discover Ji Seok Jang's playful Waffle Block, inspired by childhood building blocks, Z**i Mitrou's Trace of dinner, featuring ceramics with natural glazes made from restaurant waste, and the creative work of Huis Saai itself.

Throughout the week, the exhibition keeps changing as objects and furniture are rearranged into new compositions. A fresh perspective on the familiar, where even the most ordinary things become worth a second look.

And there's more to enjoy! Take a look around the bright exhibition space, explore the cosy film room and grab a drink outside.

What can a game of marbles teach us about money? 🔮

Collect, take risks, win and lose. For many of us, marbles were an early lesson in how the rules of a game determine who gets what. But who makes the rules in the first place?

In Knikkers & knaken (Marbles & Money), designer Manon van Hoeckel, commissioned by Triodos Bank, uses a marble run to make the often-invisible rules of our financial system tangible. The way money moves shapes far more than we might think—from the homes we build to the natural areas we preserve and the innovations we support.

Made with thousands of marbles collected from attics across the Netherlands, the installation invites us to look at our financial system differently—and question the rules we take for granted.

BUZIGAHILL , founded by designer and activist Bobby Kolade, transforms discarded second-hand clothing in Uganda into new fashion pieces, challenging the global fashion supply chain and championing local industry and economic independence.

Jana Flohr & Thomas Linssen | House of Thol

HOUSE OF THOL Green living tackle urgent everyday problems with a big environmental impact. Their practical, sustainable products help people to make sustainable living easier and more enjoyable, with the aim to reduce food waste.

Ifeoluwa Afolayan and Wangyang Hu | Muju Earth Technologies

muju earth , supports farmers in the transition to regenerative and climate-resilient agriculture. Its biodegradable Aeropod capsule reduces soil compaction, helping improve soil health, water movement and root growth.

Christien Meindertsma

Christien Meindertsma explores the origins and composition of everyday products. She maps the origins of materials, and how they are produced and used – exposing processes that are often hidden due to industrialisation and globalisation.

Maartje Dros & Eric Klarenbeek | .Unusual

Designers maartje and Eric research sustainable raw materials and innovative manufacturing techniques. Their goal is to create an alternative production chain that strengthens the Earth and the climate rather than depleting them.

Rick and Vincent Eurlings | Aumens

Aumens is the start-up behind the Compass (Het Kompas), a handy device with a built-in compass whose needle always points to a pre-set location. The integral GPS chip helps people with dementia find their way home independently.
