WHAT IS MUN
An acronym, a project, a purpose: the Model United Nations is a double initiative, both formative and informative, whose aim is to incline students towards getting to know what the Organization of the United Nations really is and to make them become familiar with the art of diplomacy. This project was developed around the 1950s by the UNO itself, and originally it was oriented towards

US college students only. Because next year, on 27th, 28th of February and the 1st of March 2015, the Liceo Marco Foscarini will hold the FOSCAMUN 2015, the model United Nation. Based on the great success observed in 2014, this second edition will see twice as many students participating to the debates compared to the previous edition. It will focus on current and worldwide issues to find potential solutions. To make sure every student gets involved into this unique experience

3. To introduce students to tackle the issues chosen for the debates
4. To disseminate knowledge about UNO and high diplomacy world
5. To make this an unforgettable moment, especially for our guests

CLOSING CEREMONY

Our Closing Ceremony was a moment of celebration and reflection, marking the end of an incredible journey of diplomacy, debate, and collaboration. During the event, the top three delegates from each committee were recognized for their outstanding performance, receiving well-deserved awards for their dedication and skills.

For us - Pietro, Giorgia, Carlotta, Anna - this moment is truly special. Seeing the conference come to life after months of preparation has been incredibly rewarding, and we could not be prouder of what we have achieved together. Every speech, every debate, and every resolution presented was a testament to the dedication and passion of all the participants, and we are grateful to have witnessed it firsthand.

Your enthusiasm, hard work, and commitment have made this experience unforgettable, and it has been an honor to share it with you. We hope that FOSCAMUN has inspired you, challenged you, and given you memories that will last a lifetime. As this edition comes to an end, we send you our warmest wishes for the future - whether that means more MUNs, new challenges, or exciting opportunities ahead.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The final day of FOSCAMUN was marked by the presentation of resolutions, as each committee showcased the culmination of its dedicated work. The intense debates and collaborative efforts reflected the remarkable progress made throughout the conference.

Meanwhile, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) delivered its closing statements and reached a verdict on the case, bringing a decisive conclusion to its proceedings.

LAST DAY OF FOSCAMUN

Yesterday was the last day of FOSCAMUN, during which the committees presented their resolutions, showcasing the results of their collective efforts. The final discussions were a testament to the progress made, and it was clear that the outcomes of these deliberations would have a lasting impact. In addition, we held the closing ceremony, during which prizes were awarded to the best 3 delegates from each committee, and we heard extraordinary speeches from our Secretary General Pietro Labelli, Deputy Secretary General Carlotta Angela, and Head of Organization Giorgia Baccan.

Last night, we hosted the FOSCAMUN gala at the church. It was an elegant and sophisticated evening to celebrate FOSCAMUN days. The night was a celebration of grace and glamour, filled with laughter and extraordinary music.

SECOND DAY IN THE COMMITTEES

The second day within the committees was marked by even greater energy and collaboration. Delegates deepened their discussions, building on the foundations laid the previous day. The atmosphere was charged with a sense of purpose, and the commitment to finding innovative solutions was evident as delegates from each committee gathered to write their position papers.

FIRST DAY IN THE COMMITTEES

Yesterday was the first day within the committees, and it is already shaping up to be an exciting and insightful experience. As delegates settled into their roles, the participants started sharing their country’s perspectives. The level of dedication and passion displayed by all was truly inspiring. This first day has marked the beginning of what promises to be three days of intense dialogue, learning, and growth as we work together toward common goals.
