Promodrive sceglie Andrea Palazzo per il nuovo campionato GT4 Italy Series 🏁

Andrea Palazzo è il primo pilota Promodrive che si metterà al volante della BMW M4 GT4 EVO per la prima stagione del campionato GT4 Italy Series.

Stefano Gabellini, team owner: “Siamo molto contenti di correre con Andrea quest’anno. Ci conosciamo da anni grazie alle sue partecipazioni passate nel MINI Challenge e, visti anche i risultati del test, siamo sicuri che assieme svolgeremo un ottimo lavoro”.

Andrea Palazzo, pilota Promodrive 2026: “Ho deciso di debuttare in questo campionato e di iniziare un nuovo ciclo per me al volante di vetture a trazione posteriore, dopo anni di gare con vetture a trazione anteriore”.

Il primo test per il pilota di Fasano arriverà il 12 marzo a Misano 🔥

Promodrive chooses Andrea Palazzo for the new GT4 Italy Series championship 🏁

Andrea Palazzo is the first Promodrive driver who will get behind the wheel of the BMW M4 GT4 EVO for the debut season in the GT4 Italy Series championship.

Stefano Gabellini, team owner: “We are very happy to race with Andrea this year. We have known each other for years thanks to his past participation in the MINI Challenge and, considering the results of the test as well, we are confident that together we will do an excellent job.”

Andrea Palazzo, Promodrive driver 2026: “I decided to make my debut in this championship and start a new chapter for myself behind the wheel of rear-wheel-drive cars, after years of racing with front-wheel-drive cars.”

The first test for the driver from Fasano will take place on March 12 in Misano 🔥

Ci sono auto che non invecchiano: aspettano solo il momento giusto per rinascere. 🔧🏁

La BMW M3 E36 con rara scocca Matter protagonista di questo progetto è stata oggetto di una lunga ricerca, ed è proprio da lì che abbiamo scelto di far ripartire la sua storia. Una volta arrivata in officina, ha intrapreso un processo di restauro completo attraverso il programma Promodrive Vintage, dedicato alla selezione e al recupero di esemplari storici rari.

Il risultato è una vettura riportata alle sue specifiche originarie, conservando richiami alla livrea originale, con performance da competizione e pronta a scendere di nuovo in pista.

🇮🇹 Promodrive accoglie con entusiasmo la nascita della nuova serie GT4 italiana annunciata da ACI Sport, pronta a partire dal 2026.

Con la nostra BMW M4 GT4 saremo pronti a prendere parte a questo nuovo percorso dedicato alle vetture conformi alle specifiche internazionali GT4, un progetto che amplia l’offerta sportiva del panorama Gran Turismo e si integrerà pienamente negli ACI Racing Weekend.

Cinque appuntamenti, format sprint e un’ampia copertura mediatica: la nuova categoria rappresenta un passo importante per la crescita del movimento GT nazionale.
