Una giornata piena di musica dall’inizio alla fine.
Tra le strade di Piazza Garibaldi, workshop sold out a Palazzo San Martino e tanti nuovi ukulelisti che hanno mosso i primi passi insieme ad e e al workshop di . ✨
Nel pomeriggio, , Ukulele Uff Trio e Jane For Tea hanno condiviso idee, suoni ed esperienze nei loro workshop, prima di uno degli appuntamenti più emozionanti del festival: Abbracci Sonori a Sant’Angelo insieme al duo , un momento di ascolto, incontro e connessione che ha lasciato il segno. 💙
La sera, Piazza Palmieri si è riempita di energia con .official , & .aloha , e , mentre la notte è continuata al Mezzopieno con una jam session guidata dalla , tra sorrisi, improvvisazioni e ukuwaves ovunque. 🌊🎶
Monopoli continua a suonare.

🎬 DAY 3 RECAP 🌊
A day filled with music from start to finish.
Ukuleles took over the streets of Piazza Garibaldi, workshops were packed at Palazzo San Martino and many new players took their very first steps alongside Alessandra and Irene, as well as in Vincenzo Gioia’s beginner workshop. ✨
In the afternoon, , and shared ideas, sounds and experiences through their workshops, before one of the most moving moments of the festival: Sound Embraces (Abbracci Sonori) in Sant’Angelo together with the Marea Duo, a beautiful experience of listening, connection and community. 💙
In the evening, Piazza Palmieri came alive with Elena Mil, Sage & Zaza, Daniel Ho and Ukulele Tuesday, before the night carried on at Mezzopieno with a jam session led by the Ukulele Orchestra Bratislava, bringing smiles, spontaneous music and ukuwaves everywhere. 🌊🎶
Monopoli keeps playing.

Si comincia tra Largo Castello e Palazzo San Martino con street performance, lezioni per chi vuole avvicinarsi all’ukulele per la prima volta e un pomeriggio ricchissimo di workshop con Marcela Brozova, , e .

Alle 17:00 non mancate uno degli appuntamenti più speciali del festival: Abbracci Sonori, insieme a e . Un momento di incontro, ascolto e condivisione che lascerà il segno. ✨

La sera ci ritroviamo in Piazza Palmieri per un concerto imperdibile con , e , prima di chiudere la notte al Mezzopieno con una jam session imperdibile guidata dagli amici di . 🎶

🌊 Another day of ukuwaves is flowing through Monopoli.

The day begins between Largo Castello and Palazzo San Martino with street performances, sessions for those approaching the ukulele for the very first time, and an afternoon packed with workshops led by Marcela Brozova, Alessandro Pedroni, Arlo Anwin and Daniel Ho.

At 5:00 PM, don’t miss one of the festival’s most special events: Sound Embraces, together with Strade Aperte and Paolo Damiani. A moment of connection, listening and sharing that will stay with you long after it ends. ✨

In the evening, we gather in Piazza Palmieri for an unmissable concert with Alex Allyfy, Norwegian Uke and Jane For Tea, before heading to Mezzopieno for a late-night jam session led by our friends from Anarchy in the Ukulele.🎶

Workshop pieni, ukulele tra le strade di Largo Garibaldi e un momento che difficilmente dimenticheremo: School Notes, sulla scalinata della Cattedrale della Madia, con i ragazzi delle scuole di Sulmona, Bari e Monopoli insieme all’orchestra femminile cubana . Un incontro di musica, culture e generazioni che ha emozionato tutti ✨
La sera, Piazza Palmieri si è accesa con e , e . Poi ancora musica, incontri e una jam session che ha portato la notte avanti insieme a e .
Le ukuwaves continuano a crescere.

Packed workshops, ukuleles filling the streets of Largo Garibaldi and a moment we won’t easily forget: School Notes, on the steps of the Cathedral of the Madia, bringing together students from Sulmona, Bari and Monopoli with the Cuban all-female orchestra Son de Sol. A beautiful encounter of music, cultures and generations ✨
In the evening, Piazza Palmieri came alive with Arlo Anwin and Paolo Damiani, Four String Boy and Ukulele Uff Trio. Then more music, new encounters and a late-night jam session with Ukulele Tuesday and Galway Uke Fest Band.
The ukuwaves keep growing.

Dalle prime note del mattino fino alla jam sotto le stelle, oggi la città si riempie di ukulele, incontri, sorrisi e sorprese.
Si comincia con Ukulele101, per chi vuole muovere i primi passi, si continua tra workshop e street performance che porteranno la musica tra le strade del centro storico, fino a uno dei momenti più speciali del festival: Abbracci Sonori, con il duo Marea alle 17:00 a Sant’Angelo.
Quando il sole tramonta, Piazza Palmieri diventa il cuore pulsante del festival con un concerto da non perdere: .official , e .aloha , e .
E poi, naturalmente, la magia continua con la jam session notturna insieme alla Ukulele Orchestra Bratislava.

Monopolele Saturday is here. 🌊
From the first notes of the morning to the late-night jam under the stars, today the city fills with ukuleles, encounters, smiles and surprises.
We start with Ukulele 101 for absolute beginners, then workshops and street performances will bring music through the streets of the old town, leading to one of the festival’s most special moments: Sound Embraces, at 5:00 PM in Sant’Angelo.
As the sun goes down, Piazza Palmieri becomes the beating heart of the festival with a concert not to be missed featuring Elena Mil, Sage & Zaza, Daniel Ho and Ukulele Tuesday.
And then, of course, the magic continues with the late-night jam session alongside the Ukulele Orchestra Bratislava.

The fifth edition of Monopolele started with a packed La Pentima, ukuleles raised to the sky, people singing from the crowd and music going late into the night ✨
Paper Moon Trio, Ukulele Ska Collective on stage, late-night jam sessions with Ukulele Big Band at Mezzopieno and ukuwaves everywhere.
Monopoli has started playing.

Le Ukuwaves sono partite! 🌊

Ieri sera Monopolele 2026 si è aperto a La Pentima con un concerto che ha trasformato Porta Vecchia in un grande abbraccio collettivo tra musica, mare e persone arrivate da ogni parte del mondo.

Ad aprire ufficialmente la quinta edizione del festival, Mauro e Salvo insieme a Francesco Alba, Delegato al Turismo di Monopoli.
Sul palco:



Tra balli improvvisati, cori, ukulele alzati al cielo e una piazza piena fino a notte, il festival è tornato a fare quello che ama di più: creare incontri.
E dopo il concerto, la musica è continuata da Caffè Mezzopieno con la jam session insieme alla dalla Turchia, tra strumenti condivisi e nuove amicizie nate in poche ore.

È solo il primo giorno.
E Monopoli vibra già di ukuwaves. ✨

Last night Monopolele 2026 officially opened at La Pentima, turning Porta Vecchia into a huge collective embrace of music, sea breeze and people arriving from all over the world.
Opening the fifth edition of the festival: Mauro and Salvo together with Francesco Alba, Tourism Delegate of Monopoli.
On stage:
Paper Moon Trio
Ukulele Ska Collective
Between spontaneous dancing, singalongs, ukuleles raised to the sky and a square full of energy until late at night, the festival came back doing what it does best: bringing people together.
And after the concert, the music continued at Caffè Mezzopieno with the jam session together with the Ukulele Big Band from Turkey, sharing songs, instruments and brand new friendships.
It’s only day one.
And Monopoli is already vibrating with ukuwaves. ✨
