The Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition is proud to support the first edition of the Cape Town International Piano Competition — a new international platform for the next generation of concert pianists.

All applicants to the 66th Busoni Competition will automatically receive a voucher with a discount on the Cape Town application fee.

From Europe to South Africa, this collaboration opens new artistic opportunities for participants and laureates of both competitions — including workshops, concerts, and future engagements. As Peter Paul Kainrath, Artistic Director of the Busoni Competition, says:
"Busoni himself stood for freedom, openness, and impartiality. Cape Piano shares these same values. Together, this voice becomes even clearer and stronger."
