In this interview recorded during , Nader Aljorf sits down with Shadha Musallam, founder of Agritopia for Agricultural Technology.

The Palestinian agritech startup designs indoor farming systems to support farmers facing limited access to land and water resources.

The interview offers a candid look at the reality of building a business in the West Bank. Despite severe logistical barriers caused by over 900 gates fragmenting the territory, difficulties in importing hardware, and a lack of market liquidity, Palestinian founders demonstrate exceptional resilience and determination.

Driven by a restricted local market, Agritopia is now exploring expansion into Africa, a blooming market with similar infrastructural challenges but massive scale, while also finding interesting synergies with the Italian and Mediterranean agri-food ecosystems.

TerraSpark is in the Top 20 at Slush 100 2026
The Luxembourg-based startup, which is developing radio-frequency power transmission for space solar, has qualified among the semifinalists of one of the world’s most influential startup competitions.

This comes shortly after TerraSpark won the Jury Award at the Startup Competition, where the most innovative ventures from around the world took the stage. Congratulations to Jasper Deprez and the entire TerraSpark team on another well-deserved milestone!
Their mission: bring commercial space solar power to Earth, delivering continuous, clean energy 24/7 and overcoming the limits of traditional renewables where local grids are overloaded.

The roadmap points to an orbital demonstrator launch in 2027 and the first space-to-Earth power beam in 2028.
