The Brahmaputra Board successfully concluded Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 with the Closing Ceremony and Prize Distribution; in the presence of Dr. Ranbir Singh, Chairman, Brahmaputra Board. The event celebrated the enthusiastic winners of various competitions including Art, Slogan, Debate, and Quiz, reinforcing our collective commitment to this year’s theme, "Probity for Prosperity".

On 2nd November 2026, a Senior Officers' Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Smt. Archana Varma, Secretary, DoWR, RD & GR at the Shram Shakti Bhawan, New Delhi. Dr. Ranbir Singh, Chairman, Brahmaputra Board along with Shri Abhay Kumar, General Manager; Shri Adil Khan, Secretary, Brahmaputra Board along with other Senior Officials attended the meeting.

On 30th October 2026, the Brahmaputra Board successfully executed a campus-wide cleanliness initiative in line with Special Campaign 6.0 to clear waste, maintain pristine office surroundings, and foster a lasting culture of workplace hygiene and environmental care.

Marking the successful conclusion of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, the Brahmaputra Board, in collaboration with the Digital Transformation Unit, organized an interactive online Quiz Competition on Vigilance & General Knowledge today at HQ. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and staff, who actively engaged to test and expand their awareness of vigilance principles, governance, and ethical standards.

As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, Brahmaputra Board organized a Vendor/Contractor Meet on 30th October 2026, coordinated jointly by the Vigilance Cell and Procurement Cell. The meet was attended by the Chief Vigilance Officer, Vigilance Officer and Officials dealing with procurement along with different vendors/contractors. The session commenced with the administration of the Integrity Pledge, followed by a comprehensive presentation reaffirming the Board's commitment to ethical governance, transparent procurement practices, strict adherence to zero-tolerance policies on gifts and favours, and awareness of official grievance and complaint channels.

On 29th October 2026, Dr. Ranbir Singh, Chairman, Brahmaputra Board attended a meeting with the Country Head of the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), India, accompanied by Dr. Laishram Kanta Singh, Director, NERIWALM. The discussion centered on exploring potential synergies and collaborative opportunities in regional water resource management, climate resilience and sustainable development.

On 29th October 2026, an Art and Drawing Competition for the children of employees as part of the ongoing observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026. The young participants brought themes of transparency, nation-building, and ethical values to life with vibrant colors and inspiring imagination, demonstrating that instilling a culture of vigilance and honesty begins right at home.

Committed to fostering a cleaner and greener environment, the Brahmaputra Board actively carried out a dedicated cleanliness drive on 29th October 2026 under the aegis of Special Campaign 6 to thoroughly clean and rejuvenate the children's park and the front corridor area inside the campus, reinforcing our shared responsibility toward workplace hygiene, sustainability, and community well-being.

On 29th October 2026, the Vigilance Section of Brahmaputra Board (HQ), Guwahati, hosted a special interactive talk by Shri Jeevan Bhagat, Addl. Superintendent of Police, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Anti Corruption Branch (ACB), Guwahati, at the Conference Hall. The impactful discussion took place in presence of Shri Abhay Kumar, General Manager, Brahmaputra Board and brought together Officers and staff to deliberate on vigilance, institutional probity, and transparent administrative practices.
