MICC - Midland Indoor Carpet Championship

Hi all,

I have received an email from the tennis centre saying they can’t accommodate our events anymore and the equipment needs to be removed.

So if anyone has any ideas on an alternative venue where we could have a similar size track plus storage etc, then please let me know.

If we are unable to find a venue then i will look to host a 3-4 round championship at various clubs across the Midlands and North (Any clubs interested please let me know).

I’m planing to remove the equipment on the 14th June so if anyone is available to help load in Telford or unload in Leeds it would be gratefully appreciated as many hands will make light work.

Absolutely worn out after the weekend, but there are a lot of people I need to say "thank you" to.

1. Our track building team, you guys are amazing!

2. The people who I call on to do this and that in the run up to meetings.

3. Neal for his tireless work at our events, making sure we have sound and internet.

4. Steph our referee this is the most difficult job at any race event and we are truly lucky to have him.

5. Roger sitting at the computer all day.

6. Kris for keeping us all entertained.

7. Charlie on technical inspection.

8. Mike for the fantastic photos that have been appearing all day.

9. Those who I have missed.

We are already working on bringing you a series next year, we are hoping to be back at Telford but if anyone knows of any venues within a 30 minute drive of Stafford that could accommodate us then shout up?
