💪🚨 100 TONNES! 🚨💪

Take a moment to think about that number...

🏋️ 100 tonnes is the equivalent of: 🚗 Around 67 family cars 👥 About 1,250 adults 🚂 A fully loaded locomotive

And today, Matt Howe has achieved that through one movement... the biceps curl.

What makes this even more remarkable is that this wasn't done in a few minutes, an hour, or even a single workout. It has taken relentless determination, focus, resilience, and an incredible ability to keep going when most people would have stopped long ago.

This challenge has become about far more than physical strength. It is a demonstration of mental toughness, commitment, and the power of setting yourself a seemingly impossible goal and refusing to quit.

And the incredible thing?

Matt is still going. 🔥

Every curl from here pushes the world record attempt even further out of reach and helps raise even more awareness and support for an incredible cause.

If you've been inspired by what Matt is achieving and would like to support him and the charity, please consider making a donation:

Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a difference and gives Matt that extra boost as he continues this astonishing challenge.

100 tonnes completed. World-record territory. Still pushing.

What an achievement. 👏💪🔥

🤯💪 300% OF THE TARGET... LET THAT SINK IN! 💪🤯

Three hundred percent.

Not 110%.
Not 150%.
Not even 200%.

300% of the number required to break the 24-hour bicep curl world record.

What Matt Howe is achieving is now far beyond a world record attempt. It has become a remarkable demonstration of what the human body and mind are capable of when determination, purpose and resilience come together.

Most people never get close to discovering where their limits are. Matt has found them, pushed through them, and then kept on going.

As the hours have passed, this challenge has become less about biceps and more about mindset. When the muscles are screaming, the hands are sore, the body is exhausted and common sense is telling you to stop, it is mental strength that takes over.

This is a true example of resilience in action.

It is a reminder that our greatest strength isn't always physical. It is the ability to keep moving forward when things get uncomfortable, difficult and painful.

And while the numbers are staggering, the reason behind this challenge is what makes it even more inspiring.

Matt is taking on this incredible feat to raise awareness and funds for those affected by PTSD. Every curl is helping shine a light on a cause that impacts countless individuals and families.

🤯💪 200% OF THE TARGET... AND STILL GOING! 💪🤯

What started as an attempt to break a world record has become something truly extraordinary.

Matt Howe has now achieved an incredible 200% of the original target required for the 24-hour bicep curl world record attempt! 🔥🏆

Most people would be happy to scrape over the line. Matt has absolutely smashed through it and continues to push on, setting a standard that will take some serious beating.

But this challenge has never just been about the record.

Every curl represents support for those affected by PTSD and helps raise awareness of the challenges faced by so many people every day. ❤️

The physical achievement is remarkable, but the opportunity to make a difference through fundraising is what matters most.

If you've been following Matt's journey and haven't yet sponsored him, there's still time to show your support:

Whether it's £2, £5, £10 or more, every donation helps and shows Matt that his incredible effort is inspiring others.

Let's celebrate an amazing achievement and help him turn this world record attempt into something even more powerful. 💪❤️

💪🔥 WORLD RECORD ALERT! 🔥💪

A huge congratulations to Matt Howe, who has already achieved the required number of bicep curls needed to break the current 24-hour world record! 🤯👏

Everything from this point onwards is about putting the record completely out of reach and setting a new benchmark for others to chase. 💥

But this challenge is about far more than numbers. Matt is taking on this incredible feat to raise awareness and funds in support of PTSD, a condition that affects so many individuals, veterans, emergency service personnel, and families.

The physical challenge is immense, but the cause behind it is even bigger. ❤️

If you'd like to support Matt's world record attempt and help raise funds for this important cause, please consider making a donation:

Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a difference.

When comedian Ivo Graham turned up to take part in The Longevity Games on 10th May, he didn’t just come along for a laugh… he fully embraced what the event is all about 💪🧡

And from what he’s told us since, we’re hoping he will be back on Sunday 13th September because he genuinely enjoyed the experience, the atmosphere and the community spirit that makes The Longevity Games so special.

What was also really nice to hear was Ivo speaking in an interview with Swindon24 about wanting to do more to help in his hometown of Swindon. He spoke about how his parents are doing more and more to support people locally too, and you can tell that mindset has rubbed off on him.

Sometimes little comments tell you a lot about a person.

For us, it showed someone who genuinely cares about people, about community, and about helping others age well and live healthier lives.

To have somebody like Ivo believe in what we are trying to do with The Longevity Games and our vision to make Swindon the fittest town in the country means a huge amount 🙌

Because this has never just been about fitness…
It’s about creating a healthier, happier and more connected town for everyone.

Hopefully see you back on the start line in September Ivo 👊

💭 MINDSET • MOVEMENT • COMMUNITY 💪

When teams like Inner Monkey come to The Longevity Games… you can instantly see why we are on the same page 🙌

After taking part as a team this May, they are already coming back in September with an even bigger group 🔥

Stuart Longhurst, founder of Inner Monkey & Inner Monkey Fitness, created the community from his own personal experiences with stress, pressure, mindset struggles and understanding just how closely mental and physical health are connected.

Like many people, Stuart learned that when your mind is overwhelmed, confidence, motivation and energy can all suffer. Through his own journey he discovered that movement, routine and exercise were not just tools for improving physical health… they became powerful ways to improve mental wellbeing too ❤️

One line that really stood out to us was this:

“Managing your Inner Monkey is learning how to take control of negative thoughts, self-doubt and unhealthy habits instead of letting them control you.”

That message fits perfectly with what The Longevity Games is all about.

This has never been about elite athletes only.
It has never been about intimidation.
It has never been about perfection.

It is about helping everyday people move more, build confidence, improve both mind and body and realise they are capable of more than they think.

Stuart’s goal with Inner Monkey is to help people lose weight, move more and build healthier lifestyles in a realistic and supportive way. He believes fitness should feel empowering and achievable for everyone, whether that is building confidence in the gym, becoming more active or simply improving mental wellbeing through movement.

He also sponsors Men in Mind FC, a local football team set up to support mental health through exercise, community and connection ⚽❤️

Because sometimes simply getting people moving, exercising together and feeling part of something can have a huge impact mentally as well as physically.

That is why we are so aligned 🙌

At The Longevity Games we say:
👉 Your pace, not a race.

Because small steps really do create big change.

Massive thank you to Stuart and the whole Inner Monkey team for getting involved this year and already planning to return in September with an even bigger crew 🔥

Swindon needs more communities like this.

Let’s make mental health as important as physical health ❤️
