Something for your diary!
Fabulous event for a great project!

🎶 You’ve asked, we’re answering! 🎶

The syllabus has only been online for a week, and we’ve already had questions about one of the classes in our vocal category!

The Favourite Songs class (360). ❤️

So, what is it all about?

It’s an opportunity to perform a piece you absolutely love, perhaps something completely different in style from the pieces you’re entering in your other classes.

It could be a different musical theatre number, an aria, a classic ballad… the list goes on!

Whatever your favourite piece happens to be, you can share it with us. Just remember to provide the music for our accompanist. 🎹

The idea is to give you the chance to perform something you love singing, even if it’s a little different from your other festival performances.

We hope that helps!

If you have any questions about the syllabus for Hazel Grove Musical Festival 2027, do get in touch. We’re happy to help! 🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵

Why not sign up for The Maia Singers singing day!!

Come and Sing with the Maia returns! This time Henry will be teaching us a quintessentially varied repertoire. The headliner is Handel's coronation anthems, including Zadok the Priest, but we'll also learn some shorter pieces by Billy Joel, Henry Purcell, Marvin Gaye and more! No knowledge of the music required: you'll start with the sheet music and by the end you'll be ready to perform in a mini concert to friends and family.
