Jack Up offers a series of fun-filled, family-friendly throwback events with music from the 60s-90s Such is its popularity, the event is now into its 8th year.

We are an event management company best known for organising the annual retro festival Jack Up The Summer, which takes place on the Isle of Wight over the second weekend in August. In the past 9 years, our brand has grown to include a variety of 'feel-good' decade events for retro music fans. Our two indoor disco parties Jack Up The 70s (February) & Jack Up Christmas (November) are held out of season to provide an incentive for visitors to come to the Island & to give residents something to look forward to in the quieter winter months. Our free-to-attend community event Ticket to Ryde takes place along Ryde seafront over the Spring and Summer bank holiday weekends. The ethos of Jack Up Events is to give back to the local Island community, as such all of our events help fundraise for a range of local charities & good causes. Run by a small team of dedicated individuals, each event aims to bring a nostalgic happy feel-good vibe to Islanders & holidaymakers seeking an attraction & wanting to indulge in their youth & relive memories of their early school disco days. We hope you had an absolutely brilliant time at Ticket To Ryde this Bank Holiday weekend — despite the weather on Saturday doing its best to try and derail proceedings! From the incredible local acts lighting up the stage to our amazing Island traders, it was a celebration of everything that makes this community so special. And best of all? Completely free.

Many of you know Retro Staycations as the beautiful outdoor setting behind some of Jack Up Events' favourite nights — from Jack Up Summer Party in years gone by, to this summer's Dancing Queens & Boyband Dreams with ABBA Chique and Re-Take That. That same site has been nominated again at this year's Isle of Wight Red Funnel Awards, for 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 AND 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🎉

Last year was Retro Staycations' first time being nominated, and thanks to incredible support we came away with Gold and Bronze. It's been the busiest season yet for the site, and now we'd love your help to go one better 🙌

Thank you to all our Dancing Queens last night! And to the incredible BJÖRN This Way - ABBA Tribute Band for a superb performance💃 🙌

Tonight we are looking forward to making your Boy Band Dreams come true at Retro Staycations in Ryde...✨

The phenomenal Re-Take That - Take That Tribute Show will be taking to the stage at 8pm.

Gates open at 5:30pm, with some fabulous musical entertainment from The Mix Uk at 6:30pm 🎶

Once the concert ends, everyone is invited to join us on our fantastic communal decking area to watch England vs Norway in the World Cup Quarter Final! ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

⏱ Gates open: 5:30pm
🎵 Support act on at 6:30-7:30pm
❤️ Main acts on at 8pm
⏰ Event finish by 9:50pm
🚗 Free parking available on-site, immediately next to the event arena
🚙 Designated pick-up/drop-off area
🚕 Ryde Taxis LTD offer 10% discount on advance bookings!
🕺 This event is unseated, therefore you are welcome to bring fold-up chairs and blankets!
🍏 Only food & drink purchased on-site may be consumed on-site - no picnics
💧Stay hydrated! Sealed bottles of water & squash may be brought into the event & there is a fresh water tap on-site for refills
🐶 Well behaved dogs on leads welcome
🎟 A limited number of tickets will be available to purchase on the gate priced at £18 per night / £31 for the weekend (subject to availability)
