What a fantastic business breakfast, it was so good to see so many companies already involved or looking to get involved in such a great charity like Shiloh helping so many people each year. It was amazing to hear Robin's story.

Thank you to all the fantastic businesses who joined us for Shiloh Rotherham’s Business Breakfast Networking Event yesterday.

It was our first event of this kind in several years and the energy in the room was incredible. Huge thanks to our partners at Roy Hatfield Group for co-organising the event and generously sponsoring the breakfast.

We were proud to share updates about Shiloh’s work from our CEO Sarah Smart and Trustees. We also showcased our festive appeal 'All I Want For Christmas...' and were thrilled to receive a large donation from Canklow Storage alongside many other pledges to get involved in too.

But the highlight of the event was hearing from our guest Robin, who bravely shared his personal journey from being a successful businessman, homelessness to hope. His story inspired so many conversations in the room.

We’re excited to reconnect with the business community and are looking forward to building new partnerships as we head into 2026.

We sponsored Libby, Ellie, Isla to go to Kenya to help in schools and wildlife conservation and what a fantastic job they did, well done girls. Here are some photos.

On 8th July we volunteered to help remove Balsam weeds that take over nature and they grow high and fast, as you can see from the piles there were a lot. Thank you Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust for this fantastic experience.

As you may remember back in April we received a bronze certificate for our donations given over the last 6 years. we have now received a plaque as part of that certificate which we are very proud of 🥳. Its been longer than we would like since posting, so here is an update on the fantastic charities we support Shiloh Rotherham - Homeless Support, YWCA Yorkshire, Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust, Liberty Church, Rotherham who have a food bank supporting many members of the community.
