The Triplet:
Wod 3:
THE FURNACE:

7 minute AMRAP straight into a 3 minute AMRAP, no rest
Score: total reps across both parts
Part A — 7 minute AMRAP

21 Burpees (2 athletes working)
15 Toes-to-Bar (2 athletes in sync)
9 Shuttle Runs (1 athlete)

Part B — 3 minute AMRAP, no rest

12 Chest-to-Bar (2 athletes in sync)
9 Air Squats (all three athletes)
6 Handstand Press-Ups

Movement standards

Burpees: chest and thighs to the floor at the bottom, full extension at the top. Two athletes work at once and split the reps however they like.

Toes-to-Bar (Intermediate): from a full hang, both feet contact the bar; the two working athletes complete each rep together. Masters & Mixed: Toes-to-Target, feet to a marked height, still two in sync.

Shuttle Runs: one athlete runs the marked shuttle, touching every line.

Chest-to-Bar (Intermediate): full hang to chest contact on the bar, arms extended at the bottom, two athletes in sync. Masters & Mixed: standard pull-ups, chin clearly over the bar, performed by one athlete.

Air Squats: hip crease below the top of the knee, full stand at the top, all three athletes working.

Handstand Press-Ups (Intermediate): kick to a handstand, lower until the head touches the floor, press to full lockout. Masters & Mixed: one ab-mat may be used under the head to reduce the range.

Each athlete owns one lift — a Clean, a Power Clean and a Hang Clean — and your team's score is the three best added together.

The first workout of The Triplet is here, and it is a proper engine test wrapped around a barbell.
RED LINE — 12 minute AMRAP
Score: total metres on the rower

The workout
• Max metres on the rower, one athlete rowing at a time.

• At 0:00 and every 90 seconds (1:30, 3:00, 4:30, 6:00, 7:30, 9:00, 10:30), all three athletes leave the rower and complete a synchronised thruster set before they can row again.

• One athlete takes the wall ball, one the single dumbbell, one the barbell. Reps start at 2 each and climb by 2 every round (2, 4, 6, 8 and up).

Movement standards

• The rower: only one athlete may row at a time. Metres are read from the monitor. Swap the rower as often as you like.

• In sync: on every rep of the thruster set, the three athletes must reach the bottom of the squat and full lockout (or the wall-ball target) together. Reps out of time will not count.

• Wall Ball Thruster (9 / 6 kg): hip crease clearly below the top of the knee at the bottom; ball strikes the target at full extension on every rep.
• DB Thruster, single dumbbell (22.5 / 15 kg): below parallel at the bottom; one drive to the dumbbell fully locked out overhead, arm by the ear.
• Barbell Thruster: below parallel at the bottom; one continuous drive to the bar locked out overhead, over the middle of the body. Intermediate 50/35 Masters & Mixed 40/30kg

• No switching: an athlete keeps the same piece of kit for the whole round. You may swap who is on what for the next round only.

• The reset rule: if any athlete’s kit drops from above hip height, that round’s thruster reps reset to zero and must be completed again before returning to the rower.
