❤ GBR Run Bexhill Remembrance Run 2026 ❤️

📅 Saturday 7th November 2026
📍 Bexhill-on-Sea, Sussex

Be part of a special day of running, remembrance and community spirit on the Sussex seafront.
Following a fantastic 2025 event that welcomed over 500 runners, the GBR Run Bexhill Remembrance Run returns for 2026 offering multiple distances:

⚡ Youth Mile - 09:30
⚡ 10K - 10:00
⚡ Half Marathon - 10:10
⚡ 5K - 10:15

What to look forward to:
🌅A scenic seafront course
🎖A bespoke finisher's medal for every finisher
🏆Prizes for leading runners and age category winners
⭐A contribution from every entry to a nominated military charity

In 2025, the event raised over £1,000 for the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal. ❤️

A Halloween themed night time 2K or 5K through woodland trails.

🏰 The Deal Castle 5 Mile 2026 - Sunday 1st November - 10am
📍 Deal, Kent
A scenic seafront race with views across the English Channel.
🔴 Sold out for the 5mile race - 9 Junior Fun Run places remain.

🌳 The M&S Beckley 10K 2026 - Sunday 1st November - 11am
📍 Beckley, East Sussex
A challenging rural 10K with a welcoming community atmosphere, cake and b**r.

💨🌧Wind, rain & plenty of running!!🏃‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️

Last weekend was certainly a test of the elements for our team, as we headed out to time three brilliant events! ⏱️

📍 The Beachy Head Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K - Beachy Head certainly lived up to its name, with some seriously strong winds! It was a challenging day out there but a huge applause to all the runners who battled through!

📍 The Fleet 10K & 5K - With 1,000 runners this fantastic race was a success, despite the strong winds, our team was on hand to keep the times ticking!

📍 Leigh-on-Sea Run Fest - Half Marathon, 10K & 5K - Over 500 runners tackled the tough conditions at this sold out race which took place along the coast!

A huge well done to all the runners who took part, and a massive thank you to all the organisers, volunteers and event teams who worked so hard to make these events happen, whatever the weather. 👏

We’re on site at the Beachy Head Marathon weekend, and the ultra runners are now underway!

‼️ MARATHON START TIME CHANGED TO 08:00 ‼️

To make the best use of the available weather window and reduce participants' exposure to the strongest forecast winds later in the day, the Beachy Head Marathon start time has been brought forward:

• New start time: 08:00
• Original start time: 08:45

This is the only change to the event schedule. All other race distances will proceed as planned and are unaffected by this amendment.

Additional Safety Measures
• The race gantry at the start/finish area will not be installed.
• Marquees and gazebos will not be erected in Helen Gardens.
• The official merchandise stand has been relocated to Bede's Sports Hall.
• Additional monitoring and safety measures are in place across the event site and course.
