A girl, a scruffy dog, and an adventure neither of them saw coming! Catherine Cookson’s children’s classic comes bounding onto the stage with songs, laughter and a larger-than-life puppet. A brand-new family show by Craig Wilde and Jamie Brown. Perfect for ages 4+.

Tyneside, 1910. A docker and a schoolteacher, a love nobody thinks can last, and a scandal that could tear the community apart. Catherine Cookson’s treasured novel comes to the Ballroom with a large cast in Rob Bettinson’s much-loved stage adaptation, directed by the highly acclaimed Jake Murray (Elysium Theatre Company, Royal Exchange Theatre).
