This one means a lot… ❤️ Sat 25th April at theCUT, Newcastle — my final gig.

After everything we’ve shared on those dancefloors, this is going to be a special one… and if I’m honest, a pretty emotional night too. From the first record to the last, we’ll be celebrating the music, the memories, and the community that’s grown around Early Doors Club.

If you’ve ever been part of it, even just once, it would be amazing to have you there.

EDC NEWS: After a lot of thought, I want to share something personal with my friends and the Early Doors Club community.

Saturday 25th April will be my final DJ set at EDC - and my retirement from DJ’ing.

I want to reassure everyone first and foremost that Early Doors Club will absolutely continue. It remains in the safe and capable hands of Richard Stout, alongside Neil Craven and guest DJs, and I know the nights, the spirit and the community will carry on just as strongly into the future.

Looking back over the past 10 years, I’ve been incredibly lucky and enjoyed reaching thousands of people with several amazing projects; Progressive House UK, Lost In and for the last 4 years, Early Doors Club.

I’ve collaborated with so many talented DJs, producers, communities and content creators. I owe a lot of thanks to kind, passionate individuals who inspired me to create unique content for music I felt deeply connected to. It’s been great fun, and I’ve learnt more than I could ever have expected. I’ve also had the privilege of playing and sharing music on the dance floor with hundreds of people across the UK and especially here at home in Newcastle Upon Tyne, where the last four years of EDC have meant so much to me.

I’m proud of what I’ve created as an individual but even more special has been the community and the memories built together that we all now share. I’m ending on a high, with full gratitude, and it feels like exactly the right moment for me.

So I’d love you to join me one last time at EDC in April for a final uplifting session of the emotional, deep, timeless music that’s always been at the heart of what I play. All the good stuff; one more time.

Thank you, sincerely, for the support, trust and energy you’ve given me and EDC over the years. It’s meant everything.

Extra special thanks must be given to Richard Stout, Nick Rodger, Neil Craven, Will Noglows at Super Progressive and Francisco Ludueña. Without their friendship, collaboration and constant inspiration I’d have been left wondering….what if?

EDC archive: Stu Allan Sunday! Saturday night back in 1992, playing clubs back-to-back, filmed by BPM.

Stu would’ve been just 30 years old here, already deep into what he did best: rocking eager crowds up and down the North of England.

In the early ’90s, this was his routine. Saturday nights honing his craft, road-testing tracks… then replaying them for us all on his legendary Sunday night show. Pure dedication. Pure passion.

He would’ve been 64 on 6th February, so this is our way of saying:

Happy heavenly birthday, Mr Allan 🙏🏻❤️
You made so many memories for so many people. One of a kind. Always.
