There’s so much for you to get involved with at our festival Saturday! 💙🎬

From a panel discussion about where the future of filmmaking in the East Midlands is headed, to a masterclass on how to get your film into the best festivals around the world - there’s something for everyone at MTFF26.

Our VR studio will be running throughout the day, with our last session on Saturday being the East Midlands Film Office Mixer - so grab a VR headset, a glass of Champagne (although not at the same time!) and enjoy 🤩

From some not-so-clever partners in crime, to a psychological thriller taking place in a not-so-cosy café, these five films are simply made for horror lovers.

We’re so excited to have had Ronald Zuidinga, Director of The Funeral Rehearsal sit down with our Assistant Festival Director of Programming, Kin, to talk more about his moving (and funny!) narrative short.

It’s such a pleasure to celebrate The Funeral Rehearsal’s nomination for Best International Short at MTFF26 - Zuidinga’s story, about a young girl who creates a eulogy for her living grandfather, was impossible not to love ❤️🏆
