This one is a mix that’s been eagerly anticipated, frim our favourite Frenchman and all round good egg,

A fixture in the Manchester scene, Robin Hergé is a DJ and producer with residencies at The Firehouse, Diecast, Tangerine, The Underbank and Dahlia Stereo, and a former Station Manager at Reform Radio. Initially specialising in French Hip Hop, Robin Hergé has evolved into an eclectic selector, moving effortlessly between Disco, Latin, Jazz, House and beyond.

For this mix, Robin Hergé very much taps into Doodle’s energy and essence, blending it with his own influences, from Disco and House to Latin and percussive rhythms.

After the success of our previous party, our first event at Dahlia, we’re excited to be bringing established North-West talent Brennan to Doodle.

There’s some serious anticipation about whatever this guy does these days, and with good reason. His driving, dubby and percussive productions have caught the eye of many in the game, thanks not only to his superb ‘Dubble’ imprint that he co-founded with Ferg in 2024.
Brennan’s talents as a DJ have also meant he’s travelled the world and already played
at some of the world’s finest parties, clubs and festivals – Dimensions Festival, Fabric, Gottwood, former Doodlers Heels and Souls famous boat party and more recently Amsterdam Dance Event, to name but a few.

This one’s not to be missed.

Meet your selectors for our massive Doodle Summer Party on Saturday 1st August.

First up, hailing from Bristol with an immense record collection that’s guaranteed to knock your party socks clean off, is Admin. A hugely respected DJ and producer, he’s earned admiration from some of the biggest names in the scene, with tracks appearing on revered compilations including Mr Bongo’s Record Club and Luke Una’s E Soul Cultura series. It’s a real privilege to welcome him to Manchester.

Martin (45 Records)

We’ve crossed paths with Martin through a series of wonderfully serendipitous moments over the past couple of years. He invited us to play at his beautiful record shop in Lancaster before bringing Charlie and Amuse Bouche together for an unforgettable session at Chugg, held at the Golden Lion, a couple of months ago. Our lads haven’t stopped talking about it since. Expect a killer set rooted in his beloved Drug-Chug sound, perfectly primed to get Honey Street moving.

Charlie

Our capitano. Also known as Charles or Charlibobs, Charlie has been the beating heart of Doodle for over 15 years. His effortlessly beautiful selections have soundtracked countless unforgettable moments, and we can’t wait for another chapter on Saturday.

Amuse Bouche

A DJ and producer with an enviable collection, deep pockets of curveballs and an instinctive ability to read a dancefloor. Expect the unexpected, delivered with impeccable taste.

Joe (Josephine)

Last but certainly not least, Joe. His records are considerably stronger than his Achilles. The newest member of the Doodle family, but with enough parties under his belt to charm even the spiciest dancefloor ravers. He’s going to be a lot of fun.
