On Thursday, the Brachers Building buzzed with over 1,000 visitors joining us for our first ever Countryside Careers event! 🤩

The event was an opportunity for school and college groups, young people planning their futures and those looking for a career change to discover the opportunities open to them in the land-based sectors in Kent.

We'd like to say an enormous thank you to all the visitors, exhibitors and supporters who joined us on the day, and to the Pack Foundation for their sponsorship of the event!

Living Land 2026! 🤩

Yesterday, our Showground was buzzing with the sound of over 2,500 children from 53 primary schools across Kent, who joined us for our annual Living Land event!

Over the course of 1 action-packed day, the kids had the chance to learn about food, farming and rural life through interactive displays, meeting local businesses owners and educational entertainment including The Sheep Show and our moving machinery display.

We would like to say an enormous thank you to all the students, teachers and parent helpers who visited and of course, to the fantastic team of volunteer stewards and exhibitors who make the day possible!

🎨 Get Creative For The Kent County Show! 🎨

NEW to Kent County Show in 2026, the Kent Art Competition is for children aged 4 – 11 years and all entries will be featured in our brand new Kent Art Quarter in the John Hendry Pavilion alongside works by local Kent-based artists.

Kindly Sponsored by Trail Blazers, the Kent Art Competition challenges young people to create a piece of art inspired by farming or the countryside.

Each entrant will receive 1 free child’s ticket and 1 free adult ticket for the entrant and a parent/guardian to attend the Kent County Show and see their work of art on display!
