HISTORY OF THE COMMON GROUND:
The sixth meeting of the 2025-2026 Lancaster Archaeological and Historical Society season will be
take place on 26 March 2026 in St Paul's Parish Hall, Scotforth, LA1 4TS, at 7.30pm for 7.45pm start.
The lecture will be given by Professor Angus Wi******er (Emeritus, Lancaster University) entitled
‘Common Ground: the history of Common Land in England’. Further information from the society's website, lahs.archaeologyuk.org. Talks are free to members, visitors are welcome at £4.00 per
