Following the success of Little Terror last year, English Touring Opera returns to Garsington Studios with Mimi and the Golden Touch! 🌟🐴

This fun-filled retelling of the myth of King Midas is a magical story about friendship, fitting in, and the power of being yourself. Co-created with students at Briarwood School, it is specially crafted for families and Learning Disabled audiences.

A masterpiece 20 years on ✨

In 2006, the world-renowned Takács Quartet released their benchmark recording of Schubert’s dramatic 'Death and the Maiden'. On 14 November 2026 they bring this piece with a deep-rooted history to the stage at Garsington Studios.

Paired with Haydn’s graceful String Quartet in C major, this will be a performance at the very pinnacle of chamber music.
