🚨 VOLUNTEERS WANTED 🚨

Wye Float are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team for this year’s event on Saturday 8th August 2026 at Hereford Rugby Club! 🎶🌊☀️

We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to help with:

✅ Stewarding & Marshalling
✅ Car Parking
✅ River Safety
✅ Ticket Sales & Merchandise
✅ Bus Stewarding
✅ Media Team
✅ Event Setup & Pack-down

Whether you can help for one shift or the whole weekend, we’d love to hear from you!

💥 Volunteer perks include:

1. Free camping (subject to volunteer hours).
2. Food vouchers
3. Free T-shirt
4. Behind-the-scenes festival experience
5. Meeting an amazing team and making new friends
6. Supporting a fantastic local event and helping us raise money for George’s Fund

Example of the shifts available:

🕣 Morning: 08:00 – 13:00
🕐 Afternoon: 13:00 – 18:00
🕕 Evening: 18:00 – 23:00

No previous experience is necessary for most roles - just a positive attitude and willingness to help.

EVENTS - 🦒🎶 NEW FOR THIS YEAR - WYE FLOAT SAFARI DISCO! 🪩🐒

We’re bringing something brand new to Wye Float this summer… introducing the free Safari Disco at Hereford Rugby Football Club! 🌿✨

A full hour of children’s music, dancing, games and safari-themed fun - perfect for little adventurers and mini dancers alike 🦁🎈

🎟 Children under 12 go FREE
However, all children must obtain a ticket via our website before attending.

⚠️ Please note:
The Safari Disco is located within the Wye Float Festival site, therefore accompanying adults must hold a valid Wye Float Festival ticket - with adult tickets starting from just £12, giving access to the festival site from 11am until 11:30pm.

Children must also be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18+.

🏰 Bouncy castles will also be available throughout the event for an additional cost.

Wye Float are proud to announce that our chosen charity for this year’s event is George’s Fund💛

George’s Fund was set up in memory of 5-year-old George, who sadly passed away from a Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma brain tumour in 2020. The charity provides grants to local Herefordshire projects supporting primary-aged children, helping them overcome physical and emotional challenges through outdoor experiences.

This is an incredibly meaningful cause, and we’re honoured to support the amazing work they do in our community.
