Hailsham Town Centre – Have Your Say!

We'd like to hear your views about Hailsham High Street and Vicarage Fields.

What brings you into the town centre? Is there anything that puts you off visiting? And what events or activities would you like to see there?

Hailsham Festival is looking at plans for more free outdoor events next year, and we'd like local people to help shape them.

Our short survey takes around three minutes to complete. Whether you visit the town centre regularly or hardly ever, we'd welcome your views.

Please complete the survey here: https://forms.gle/bNxfgaULG7oRMC6y7

Thank you for your help!

We want to know what brings people into these areas, what might put them off visiting, and what events or activities they would like to see in the future. Whether you visit regularly, occasionally or not at all, we'd welcome your views. The survey takes around three minutes to complete. Your answers...

We're sharing this across from our friends at The Grove Theatre Eastbourne for our classical and concert music patrons and supporters of our Chair and Composer Tony Biggin:

This Saturday 17th October, The Grove Theatre will host a rare chance to hear a brand-new concerto for the first time, in the theatre that commissioned it.

As the seasons change, now is the time to step into Tony's world and celebrate the colours and emotions across the glorious Sussex landscape with this newly commissioned Cello Concerto written for the Grove and performed by the Grove Chamber Orchestra with cello soloist Sebastian Comberti, and conducted by Jozik Kotz.

The piece sets the cello against a carefully drawn ensemble of winds, brass, harp and strings — music shaped by place, memory and atmosphere. Also featuring music by the Key Largo Trio.

Cello: Sebastian Comberti

Conductor: Jozik Kotz

Leader: Lisa Wigmore

Key Largo Trio

Dr Jane Pendry - Cello

Lisa-Marie Baker - Flute

Catherine Cowan - Piano
