HERE. WE……GO!!!!!!

SHXVI FIRST WAVE!!!

And this one is incredibly close to our black hearts!

We are so very proud to announce that Merthyr’s very own colossal, 6-legged rock n roll machine, Florence Black comes home next summer as STEELHOUSE FRIDAY HEADLINERS…It’s 10 years in the making…You know this one is going to be a massive, momentous, milestone set!! Seeing THIS band at THIS festival will be something very special.

Talking of all things massive - finally after 8 long years, will you please welcome back to the Mountain, a true northern powerhouse and your STEELHOUSE SUNDAY SPECIAL GUESTS, Massive Wagons!!

And how about this for a meeting of monstrous minds…MOTLEY CRUE guitar maestro John 5 makes his STEELHOUSE debut with his band, THE CREATURES who, on this occasion will be fronted by their ‘partner in shock’, Wednesday 13. This very special alliance will play a set that will include songs from 5’s stellar career with the likes of MARILYN MANSON, ROB ZOMBIE and DAVID LEE ROTH as well as the aforementioned CRUE.

Also confirmed, bass supremo Billy Sheehan, returning to STEELHOUSE, this time with his new outfit, FELL as well as British melodic rock institution FM official who make their first appearance on the mountain top since 2015.

Peace, love and lampshades rule care of These Wicked Rivers whilst the frankly unstoppable Euro-arena strutting JAYLER return to the festival where famously - in a campervan site - they formed!

Elsewhere, the cream of fast-rising UK rock outfits including, Asomvel, Fireheart and feature right across the weekend.

And that’s not all!!! Flying in from Pottsville, Pennsylvania on a filthy magic carpet of dirty groove is none other than the mighty Crobot while Australian party crew Sisters Doll make their Steelhouse debut a mission to kill off your Sunday lunchtime hangover. There’s even country-rock crossover in the form of UK queen of the scene, Kezia Gill…Yep, keep those eyebrows raised but be amazed at what she’s bringing for you all.

Local heroes, returning heroes, virtuosos, country-osos, we got the lot…AND THERES SO MUCH MORE TO COME!

All ticket types including weekend and day arena tickets are available NOW through our website and our ticketing partner, Gigantic Tickets. Link in the comments below!

So there you go, we’re off and we’re running.

In these dark days, we’re all looking for the light…Today, we’d like to point you all to it…Light under a lampshade.

The warm glow emanating from the tracks on These Wicked Rivers brand new album, ‘Fire and Folklore’ truly sets ablaze the heart and the soul.

It includes the effortlessly uplifting new single, ‘Rise’ - the accompanying video of which was directed by the chap who shot ‘November Rain’. And while it doesn’t feature Stephanie Seymour its beauty still burns bright, like a campfire outside an RV (which does feature!)

This album shouts loud that this is their time. Get yourself acquainted with one of the finest authentic rock albums you’ll hear this year. Who knows where those lampshades will shine.

The very best of everything to this man…

Kris Barras has never done anything by halves…

You’re probably all aware by now that he’s decided his upcoming tour with the band will be his last.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish him well in his future endeavours. Whatever is next, he’ll meet it head on and dive into it with everything he’s got…And that’s a lot.

If you can go and see him on this final tour, then you simply must. What a momentous celebration it will be.

And Kris, don’t be a stranger…Your Steelhouse 2023 Friday headline performance was huge and you’ll always be welcome with open arms on this Mountain.
