Hardy's Ride @ DT2 9HF on Sunday 11th of October between Dorchester and Abbotsbury.

We have a good number of entries now, thank you to everyone who has entered after Red Dragon!
We urgently need some more helpers please to help run the ride. We are looking for people who can do either roles:
1) Vet Writers at the venue, who record information on the horses's vet sheets as dictated by the vets.
2) "Gate opener" stewards, who are willing to be away from their cars.

In return we can offer a packed lunch with homemade cakes and a lovely day out! Thank you!

If you can help please contact Liz Ashmead our ride organiser:

🗺️🎉HARDY'S RIDE ROUTE MAP 2026🎉🗺️

Hardy's Ride returns with the same route as last year, which all riders enjoyed!
Come join us for a fantastic end of season ride, the ground should be perfect if the weather continues!

Please note - the new 20km class (Pleasure Ride & Foundation Novice) does not go along the Ridgeway to Wear's Hill Beacon and CP2, but will still be a spectacular route with lovely views and great terrain.

The route is 95% off-road and very fast. For example, the 35km has 1.4km of roadwork and the 45km has only 1.8km of roadwork respectively. There are brilliant cantering opportunities along the whole route, from the grassy ridgeway with views of the Jurassic coast and Chesil beach, to the bridleways and fields on the eastern half of the route with views towards Hardy's Monument.

Full high quality maps will be uploaded to clubhouse shortly, for each route option. Here's just the teaser! Apologies as Facebook reduces image quality, the downloadable maps will be brilliant quality.

Rider vetting & start times will be released once entries close on 5th October.

There's still lots of time to enter, enter here!
