Yesterday celebrated our amazing Operations Manager, Erwin, who has been with CoventryConferences for 2 years!

Erwin is a really huge part of what makes coventry conferences tick!

2 years, countless events, lots of problem solving and probably more cups of coffee than we can count ☕

IT’S TIMMEEEEE… 🎄

Time to start thinking about those Christmas festivities, and we are VERY excited to bring back something that was a HUGE hit last year… our FESTIVE AFTERNOON TEA! 🥂

After all the love it received last year, we just HAD to bring it back!

So, what’s on the menu, you ask?

✨️ Pulled roast chicken & honey glazed root vegetable Yorkshire pudding wrap with dipping gravy

✨️ Pig in blanket sausage roll

✨️ Deep fried Camembert served with apple & ale chutney

✨️ Rosemary & garlic roast potato bites

✨️ Mini pistachio, chocolate & cherry mousse cake

✨️ Christmas Viennese whirl with mincemeat & Baileys buttercream

✨️ Orange & chocolate Battenberg

✨️ Cranberry scone with cranberry & clementine jam & clotted cream

✨️ Speciality tea or coffee

And because we are all about making sure the food is actually as delicious as it sounds… we sent one of our resident food-obsessed people in for a little taste test.

A BIG thank you to Ezra for offering her services to try out the festive afternoon tea and give us her honest thoughts... Although, we're not entirely sure how much offering was involved…

Ezra said:
"Of course I offered my services to try the afternoon tea, because I was the obvious choice… 😂 Honestly, it was BEAUTIFUL!
My favourite had to be the roast wrap, that Yorkshire pudding with the roast chicken and gravy was just 👌 & the Baileys swirl was absolutely gorgeous too!
Everything was fresh, really well put together and felt properly festive.
I also feel like I should point out that I am ALWAYS available for further taster sessions… so feel free to offer me any time!"

And honestly… we think she may have a point. Someone has to do the difficult job of eating all the festive food...

Our Festive Afternoon Tea is £29.95 per person, available weekdays from 12:00–15:00, with a glass of fizz available for a £5 supplement. 🥂

Because Christmas is coming… and we are READY! ❤️
