🏁 THANK YOU TO YOU ALL! 🏁
A big thank you to the marshals, medics, spectators, drivers and mechanics who attended today's Ted Southward Memorial meeting. Thank you also to our sponsor for the day, The Southward Family. The day started with another well attended parade in Teds honour, and we thank everyone who attended the parade
Unfortunately our medics and crash team were called into action for a serious incident in the Ministox Final. We thank them for their professionalism and we send our best wishes to Nevaeh and her family and hope that she has a speedy recovery and returns to the track soon.
With the incident above it meant a reduced card but some great racing throughout. The Ted Southward Memorial trophy went to 376 Kade Bromley, who secured enough points winning the Final to be uncatchable, even had the Helter Skelter been run. Well done Kade! The Ladies also produced a classic of a Final with cars strewn all over the exit of turn 3/4, and 92 Julie ‘Smiler’ Lomas kept her cool to take the win! The Micro Bangers were once again on it all day, putting in big hits in every race, in particular the Levellers cars, putting on a show for the crowd.
Next time out, the 14th June, we have the West Coast Conflict meeting, which features the first visit of the season for Barford Hot Rods. They will be joined by the Micro Bangers, Ladies Bangers, Stock Cars, Ministox and Senior Minis. With the season beginning to hit its midway point, it’s another not to be missed!
