🏁 BOOKINGS OPEN FOR THE RESCHEDULED SEASON FINALE MEETING 15TH NOVEMBER 🏁

Just a week and a half away now from our rescheduled Season Finale, taking place on November 15th. We're sure that many drivers will have questions about this and we hope the following will answer them.
▫️ With this being the final meeting of the season and some formulas going to the wire it is vital we get the day moving as quickly as possible. We need your help with that.
▫️ Drivers need to be there early to get cars checked and booked in on time. The meeting will start at 11am and if you haven't been checked and booked in you risk missing your opening race.
▫️ You must be lined up at the gate for your race. Once the drivers there are on track the gate will be shut.
▫️ Please help each other were possible on track, if you can push a car off please do. If there's a restart please line up promptly when asked to do so.
▫️ There'll be no pace for the Final winners.
▫️ IF WE RUN OUT OF TIME, THE GRAND NATIONALS WON'T BE RUN AND POINTS WILL REMAIN AS THEY ARE AT THE END OF THE FINALS.
▫️ If possible please stay behind to help tidy up at the end of the day. If thats not possible the minimum you can do is leave your area tidy when you leave.

Hard to believe we are only a few weeks away from the end of the season, and for some of the formulas, the points look like going to the very last race of the year. The Stock Cars, Senior Minis and Ladies Bangers all have close battles for Gold. The top two Ladies are separated by 19 points, the top three Senior Minis separated by 17 points and in the Stock Cars only 3(THREE) points separate the top two. The Ministox also have a close battle for second and third and with the return of the Back to Basics, the Bangers will provide some top quality entertainment. Mini F2s also feature on the bill, with the future generation of stars starting their racing careers. It’s set to be a busy day, so please book in if you intend to race this meeting, so we can assess numbers in advance!

Unfortunately, due to Charlie being unavailable, the Mini F2s won't be able to race on the 15th November and so have been dropped from the meeting. We apologise for any inconveniences caused by this, and hope to see you all back in 2027.

🏁🏁 SEASON FINALE MEETING INFORMATION 🏁🏁

With Sunday's meeting only a day away, we want to be as prepared and organised as possible! Drivers please can we take note of the following please, we are doing this to help make the day run smoother. We are into October now, therefore the start time is now 11am noon, our gates open at 8.30am, spectator parking and disabled parking is on a first come first serve, we will have people helping out park, please be respectful to them at all times, they are doing a job they have been asked to do. Any abuse given and you will be removed from the site

⚠️ Please try to avoid arriving before 8.30am, the road into the track NEEDS TO BE KEPT CLEAR to allow staff access to the track before gates are open for drivers and spectators and for the farmer/residents that live on the road to have access to.
⚠️ Our card machine is now up and running, however cash is still advised on the gate just in case.
⚠️ Admission price is; Adults - £12, Concessions/Under 16s - £5, Under 10s - Free.
⚠️ Spectators please park responsibly. In the past we have had people dumping their cars at the side of the access round, which has meant emergency vehicles have struggled to get access due to inconsiderate parking.
⚠️ In recent meetings people have parked in such a way that disabled parkers can’t leave the track. Again please be sensible when parking, if people can’t get passed and we can’t get your attention then your car may have to be moved by one of our tractors.
⚠️ Please be respectful of those parking trackside in the disabled area. These spectators might not be able to stand outside and therefore their only view is from their vehicle.
⚠️ Pit parking will be strictly for competitors and staff ONLY! There will be no additional vehicles allowed in the pits other than transporters.
⚠️ Please park in your designated area, this is to aid tractors when clearing the track and our pit marshal when calling you for races, if you're parked at the opposite end and you don't get called and miss a race, that's tough! If you have a car from each class, please park as close to the other as possible.
⚠️ SCRUTINEERING for Bangers and Junior Rookies will be in the usual place and starts at 9.30am. Drivers must bring all their safety gear. Drive at a WALKING PACE.
⚠️ Once you have been scrutineered you will need to check in at the booking office.
⚠️ Drivers briefing will take place on the infield at 10:45am. ALL drivers MUST attend, you will be given a wristband when leaving the briefing, if you do not have a wristband you won't be allowed on track for your race.
⚠️ Race Format has been added, please make sure you are lined up ready for your race when the one before is going on track. Once all cars are on track that were lined up a 2 minute warning will be given out, if you are not round when this has finished the gate will be shut.
⚠️ Please ensure you keep your area of the pits clean at all times and NO parts of cars are to be dumped or left behind at the end of the meeting. We will have staff walking round checking areas.
⚠️ Please be careful when walking around the pits, drivers keep the speed down to a walking pace whilst travelling to and from the track.
⚠️ When leaving the track please respect the locals and keep to the speed limits, we don't want to be getting any complaints of people speeding or driving recklessly. Please also keep the locals in mind if you decide to park away from the track.

If it’s your first time visiting then please keep an eye out for our signs as you exit Junction 35 and head through Carnforth. ☔️💨 STORM BOELO 💨☔️

We’re looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow for our Season Finale meeting. An information post will be up soon.

Please be advised that we will be checking both the weather and facilities first thing tomorrow morning and if we feel we need to postpone we will get a message out asap.

Hopefully it won’t be as bad as predicted and it’ll just be a case of good water proofs and extra jumper and perhaps leaving the brolly at home, so that it doesn’t try and make its way home by itself.

🏆🏆 GOING FOR GOLD 🏆🏆

Sunday will see the finale of our 2026 season and the 2026 Points Champions officially crowned. For the Junior Rookies, Bangers and Ministox it's all sorted and congratulations to 376 Kade Bromley, 79 Michael Byram and 433 Oscar Whitham for their well earned success.

For the Ladies Bangers, Stock Cars and Senior Minis the race is still wide open for Gold. In the Ladies 19 points separate 686 Eleanor Morphet and 185 Hannah Macneal. In the Stock Cars just 3(THREE) points separate 757 Martin Chadwick and 195 Bobby Lewney and in the Senior Minis 191 Harry Leece holds an 11 point lead over 7 Shaun Yeats, with the added pressure of 52 Derek Twist a further 6 points adrift.

With 10 points for a win, down to 1 for 10th, every race is vital and a non finish could be disastrous. The Stock Cars and Senior Minis can also gain double points in the Grand Nationals, should they win the Final, however it could be a gamble, with a lap handicap to deal with.

The following sheet will be available in Sundays programme to help you keep track of whose scoring what throughout the day. We wish all the drivers the best of a luck, make sure you're their to cheer on your favourite driver as the Season long battles come to their conclusions.

📕 RULE PROPOSALS FOR 2027 📕

Just a reminder and a heads up to members, its the last meeting of the season this weekend, so your last chance to get any rule proposals in for next season. These need to be proposed and seconded by members from the class, unless they are general rules.

A number of banger ones are already been proposed for next season including opening the Micro class back up to 1.4, a change on certain types of manifolds been allowed.

Many people have approached the Club throughout the year about certain rules they didn't agree with, now is your chance to propose amendments and more importantly attend the AGM to vote on the changes if you want them. This goes for all classes, its your chance to put changes forward.
