We're thrilled to welcome legendary filmmaker Alex Cox (Repo Man, Straight to Hell, Walker) to the Cube for the first UK screening of his directorial swan song, Dead Souls, a frontier fable adapted from Gogol, set in 1890s Arizona.

Alex will be joining us in person for a Q&A after the film.

Nina Garcia (Paris) plays the kind of music you love when almost everything has been stripped away, leaving nothing but a badly connected jack plugged into a haunted amp, a skeletal guitar, and all the ghosts of the most mangled rock and darkest noise.

Pablo Jimenez-Moreno (Bristol) plays classical guitar like Robbie Basho on amphetamines. Semi-structured, improvised strumming and fingerpicking, with the natural resonance of nylon strings.

Doch Allerhand (Oxford), Logan Kunaka, plays improvised guitar sounds & textures ranging from ambient to harsh noise.

The maximalist, unhinged sci-fi creature feature from Na Hong-jin, trading the dark dread of The Wailing for pure popcorn madness.

We’ll be honest: the CGI looks like a delightfully dodgy 2000s video game, but it’s an absolute riot to watch with a room full of people on a big screen.
