HUGE shout out to Flash for wrangling all the bears pups and leather men together not an easy job I can assure you.
Being part of this community and getting to represent it has filled me with so much joy !! I am forever grateful.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to take a moment to say how amazing this year has been. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting some breathtaking places and meeting incredible individuals who have made my life so much richer. One of the most special moments was getting married to my amazing husband. It’s true what they say it is the best day of your life, well that and becoming Bear Brighton.

There have been a few challenging times this year, but I’ve been fortunate enough to experience many more positive moments that have brought me joy. One thing I’d like to share with the next Bear Brighton, is to wear your sash with pride and be seen. Even when others may try to discourage you, remember that you’ve earned this right and you’re representing our incredible community for the next year.

It has truly been my pleasure representing you over the last year and as this is my last day as Bear Brighton I’d like to say have a wonderful weekend, have fun and most of all be safe. If you are feeling unsafe this weekend there are volunteers around that can help. Don’t be afraid to ask.

There are a few people I would like to thank. Graham Munday, flash Bezuidenhout, lunch positive, all the incredible volunteers, the sponsors and of course, all your beautiful people out there.
