Proud moments like this define why we do what we do.
On Wednesday 21st January Bordon Soap Box, were honoured to formally present our four nominated beneficiaries with the vital funds raised through the generosity of our community. From donations alone, each beneficiary received an equal cheque of £3,083.50.
Real money, creating real impact, exactly where it’s needed most.
The presentation was hosted at Hogmoor Distillery, a standout local business who delivered first-class hospitality, alongside The Makhulu Street Food Truck, who raised the bar with exceptional street food. Community collaboration at its best.
One beneficiary, Bordon Food Bank, shared that these funds will directly support 94 families and nearly 400 people, helping to keep food on the table for the next two months. That’s not a statistic, that’s security, dignity, and breathing space for local families.
Behind this outcome:
• 547 individual community donations
• 10,000+ event attendees
• 244,000+ impressions across social media, livestreams, and our website
If you were one of the people who donated, shared, attended, sponsored, volunteered, or supported, thank you. Without you, the Soapbox simply doesn’t happen.
Momentum matters. Conversations are already underway for the 2027 Soapbox, and if the appetite for kindness continues, the impact will only grow.
Once again, thank you for backing the Soapbox, backing local causes, and backing each other.
You know who you are 🙏🏻
