Bodyverses — Alastair MacLennan: Nalam Nalam forms part of an ongoing series of films by Juana Robles in collaborations with performance artists working across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Nalam Nalam was developed in collaboration with Alastair MacLennan, with the participation and support of Bbeyond, Calumeccleston and the Alastair MacLennan Archive.
The film reflects on the cyclical nature of MacLennan’s practice — from creation and performance to transmission and legacy. Moving between MacLennan’s Belfast studio, his birthplace in Blair Atholl, the landscape of Carn Liath and his archive in Dundee, the film follows a journey through place, memory, performance and transmission.
