Christmas menu is up now!
We had a few customers asking already for it, and we just finished it!
As an addition to last year's menu, we have Burnt Basque Cheesecake with Spiced Cherry Jam on top, and Spiced Orange Marmalade for the Tote Bags.
The Tote Bags this year doesn't include a fruit loaf, we still don't know if we'll have these ones as pre-orders or not.
Tote Bags are:
-Stollen or Burnt Basque Cheesecake or Yule Log
-4 x Chocolate and Orange chip cookies
-5x Hojaldrinas
-4x Mince Pies
-1x Orange Spiced Marmalade
You can also order individually.
When selecting any item from the Christmas Specials Menu, you'll have to select a pick up location and date.
Lucho Bakes on the 22nd and 24th and South Molton Market on the 19th and 23rd.
If we get too many pre-orders we'll have to cut off earlier.

Thanks for your support over the last few weeks with our reopening of the little shop the bakery, with some little quality additions.
We've had some very positive feedback from people, many of whom were already customers of us but maybe they can't get to the market on time, or they live close and it's more convenient, especially since many of them go to , but we need to keep it going to make it worth.
We don't need a lot from it, just the little extra that it generates and because we were there prepping, it's just ideal.
I remember when I was a kid and went to the bakery, there was something magical in seeing on the background the bakers doing their work. That's how it is at the bakery, it's open and you can see the mess, the flour, the aprons full of dough and us walking around in crocs, it can't be more real than that, we have nothing to hide.
We only open Wednesdays and Fridays because those are our prepping days, on Tuesday we prep as well, but there's nothing to be baked as we don't work Mondays.

I'm finishing with the Christmas menu, and we'll have collection from the shop or the market, and we'll be open at the shop "maybe" on the 22nd and 24th since the last market is on the 23rd.

New additions!
Alongside cheese, eggs and butter we now have some really good Organic Olive Oil with protected designation of origin , Olives and Sun-dried Tomatoes from + , and the very best Organic Water Kefir from our friend and neighbour PIQI .

What a week it's been, and it all happened whilst we were having a little break before the Christmas rush.
Let's give a very special thanks to our friend Staff for running the stall, we were told he's been brilliant.
And to our two incredibly good bakers who did the whole week, including the night shifts, on their own so we could enjoy our time off.
Letting go of control is part of growing a business, this week they ran the show with little input from us, and it allowed us to be here and to disconnect.

Today I finished my morning meditation session and saw a message from one of our wholesalers saying that the bread looks magnificent today and how happy they are on how everything went.
Yesterday's market was another immense achievement for us, as Meg and Andreia managed everything by themselves and our friend's Staff and Jo picked everything up and headed to South Molton to set up and serve the stall. The day was also a very good one sales wise.
We are trying hard to have a rest and relax, trying not to get involved on how things are going, letting go of what we can't control from here, and it only went to show how good it was all planned.
I couldn't be prouder and sentimental, my baby has its own wings, not everything is about turnover and profit, this is also business growth.
The next thing that needs to grow now is our little shop, let's make it worth the drive down to Venn Valley. The shop is open today from 10am, go and say hi to the ladies and tell them how good they are for what they achieved.
