Class session today with Mostly Host's
& A Gent Orange as part of the st David's day celebrations. We where asked to join on with
MaesNi (Maesgeirchen) to facilitate a writting workshop plenty more sessions to come from the studio once the foundations are fully in place 🎙️

Saturday we have the final bit of filming for the river music video this that have took part in the song come along.

Kicking off from 1 pm

We will be down Afon cegin near the fish bench.

This year marks the 10 year anniversary since the project began ,

we will have some great events and opportunities lined up this year.

For donating such a beautiful unit for the studio

This unit will give the kids a chance to learn on a high spec DJ controller. A great place to start and this will bring so much value, allowing us to have a more professional unit for community events as well as providing training, and future employment opportunities for the youths.

We will have Efan Electro unbox and run a review on it before it comes to the studio and we start Djing workshops as requested.

Also a really exciting collaboration BBC Radio Cymru starting in February to assist us Mostly Host's
& MaesNi (Maesgeirchen) in running a radio station on the estate

Since we have so many interests and requests on what the kids want to learn we will have a Little bit of time to plan and structure the allocated time slots

While we also try to apply for some more funding to continue to develop the studio and protect.

20th of this month we have a great event taking place at the MaesNi (Maesgeirchen) community centre

We had a mention on BBC Radio Cymru

Completely free event with raffles, games, activities alongside the screening of 2 music videos and a presentation aswell as the first performance by the majorettes.

And a disco with Efan Electro & Mostly Host's

First sneak peak of the river song in collaboration with North Wales River Trust

Some amazing progress being made by the kids of the estate confidence is really growing in most as well as some amazing work with the in depth creative writing

Not only some are writing lyrics for others to vocalize
But there's also so much collaboration with most of the kids taking creative direction of the track

From paper to production

We will have a free community screening on the 20th of December with snacks etc showcasing the music videos from all 3 tracks that have been created

We are almost ready to officially open the first ever community recording studio in Maesgeirchen 🙌

We have another session only from 9 to 15 years olds with an interest in boxing as this was a requested project to do a walk out song so this week Tuesday and Thursday we will be making a start on the track
