From my perspective, May Welsh 2026 is not too far away.

Nice turnout last week - and very happy with the extended glide from the Turbulent, not too many turns on the rubber until I get chance to trim it outdoors...

I have bookings for indoor flying until May 2026.

The hall is in Bangor:

The centre is on a minor road, northeast of Ffriddoedd Road. It ascends slightly, turns left and then there is a left turning through a barrier to a straight road headed southwest, along which you can park. See Google maps or similar.

There is usually ample parking close to the centre. There is a coffee/drinks machine of middling quality. The nearest shop and cafe is in Morrisons at the junction with Holyhead Road.

My interest is freeflight scale and fun/duration. I always bring some models for people to try. I'm not concerned if they require some repairs afterwards.

Lightly wing-loaded radio models can be flown, with consideration of what FF planes are flying - some are very delicate.
It helps everyone if the centre of the hall is kept clear for flying as much as possible. Children are welcome but must be accompanied.

First proper flight of the widget - an android controlled timer/profiler for electric free fight models...at last! The breeze was starting to pick up, and a 10 second motor run heading a fair way downwind....

First Indoor meeting of 2025. Good flying, except for this EZEB lightweight model that strayed too close to the fan unit and was irreparably taken in! I tried to prise it off with a roach pole, but it came away in pieces. Oh well, I still have the prop and bearing and I can make another. Moral: fly at the other end of the hall...
