So different of Jazzahead, right?

We have come back from Bremen with incredible reunions and many new connections.

But we haven’t had enough time to thank everyone who joined us this year and trusted in our collective and our ideas. That’s why this video is a way of saying thank you.

So, from the crazy but loving MUSIC inFUSION family, we want to extend a huge thank you to those who sustain our network and believe in change: our partners this year at Jazzahead.

Lucía Rey ✨ performs at the Clubnight jazzahead! Trade Fair & Festival showcase, organized by the Cervantes Institute in Bremen Instituto Cervantes Bremen
MUSIC inFUSION supports this showcase by the wonderful Lucía Rey who presents a project that explores the best of jazz and Mediterranean world music fusion, so delightful to the ears, with Lucía’s characteristic light and joy.

Nominated for the 2025 Spanish Music Academy Awards and Winner of the 2026 Spain Jazz Platform Awards

“I’ve realized that I really enjoy traveling with my imagination. Not just physically. Every time I create a piece, it’s as if it has a dramatic structure, with an introduction, a development, and a conclusion.” And so it is with the album, from the introduction with the Eastern sounds of ‘Siran’, through ‘El viaje del elefante’ (The Elephant’s Journey), inspired by a novel by José Saramago, the development with more Mediterranean themes that also look to Latin America, such as ‘Colombiana gaditana’, or the connection between North Africa and southern Spain with “Aliquindoi”, to the denouement with the return to ‘Oriente’ (East).
