This year, Spielwarenmesse will be represented at the Astra Marketplace & Academy in Milwaukee, the premier event for the specialty toy industry.

As part of the educational sessions, our very own Verena Urbschat will deliver a talk on “Retail Around the World: Inspiration from Bold Ideas & Creative Concepts” on June 5th.
Together with our partner Astra, we’re excited to connect with independent retailers, manufacturers, and sales reps, sharing insights and exploring creative opportunities for growth.

Verena and Karen Vogelsang will be on-site and look forward to exchanging ideas and inspirations!

This year, the Spirit of Play Foundation achieved incredible milestones thanks to the generosity of exhibitors.
Three 20-foot containers filled with toys were donated to the Kinderhaus Nürnberg and the Kinderlachen association in Dortmund, benefiting numerous social organizations in Germany and Austria.

📍 Christian Ulrich, Speaker of the Executive Board, personally handed over part of the donations at the Familienzentrum Neulichtenhof in Nürnberg. The toys bring joy and foster creativity, learning, and togetherness for families and children.

🤝 The Kinderlachen association ensured the delivery of donations to organizations like Kindeswohl-Berlin and Kindertafel Tirol, with logistics supported by Kühne + Nagel and over 30 students from DHBW Ravensburg.

🌍 Since its founding in 2024, the Spirit of Play Foundation has reached over 6,000 children in the DACH region, India, and Brazil, promoting creativity, social skills, and personal development.
