Every runner’s journey looks different, but the importance of consistency is something that we can all relate to.

Reflecting on his training journey to the OUTWAY Half Marathon, Jayden shares: “My biggest takeaway from this training block was the importance of setting a goal, building a plan, and consistently taking actionable steps toward it.

Training doesn’t always go as planned, and there were definitely some setbacks along the way, but learning to adapt and keep showing up was a big part of the journey. It was a great reminder that progress comes from consistently putting in the work, even when things don’t go perfectly.

Crossing the finish line in 1:27 and achieving my sub 1:30 goal made it that much more rewarding.”

Congratulations to Jayden on an incredible finish and a well-earned result 👏

An incredible performance and a well-deserved victory for Kip Kangogo at RVM 2026!

At 47 years old, the Lethbridge, Alberta runner claimed his first Royal Victoria Marathon title, finishing in 2:24:28 and setting a new course record in the men’s 45–49 age category.

Already a three-time TC10K champion, Kip has a long history of racing in our city, and we’re thrilled to see him add another Victoria victory to his accomplishments.

Congratulations on an outstanding race, Kip!
