Global Running Day is next week, and we wanted to create a way to celebrate the power of movement, community, and showing up for ourselves together. 🌎🏃

On June 3rd, we’re inviting you to join our FREE virtual Commitment to Move for Global Running Day.

There’s no set distance and no “right” way to participate. Run, walk, jog, hike, roll. However you move, we want you to be part of it.

This year, we’re taking our commitment one step further with a virtual leaderboard where participants can upload and share their activity on June 3rd. It’s a chance to commit to yourself, encourage others, and celebrate movement through community.
No pressure, no competition, just a day to move together.

And don’t forget to tag and in your Global Running Day posts so we can celebrate and reshare your movement all day long. ❤️

That means that participant transfers are on the rise, and we want to make sure you’re taking all precautions to avoid getting scammed!

If you’re receiving a transferred registration, please make sure you’re looking out for the following:

✅ Only receive a transfer if it’s through the official Race Roster Transfer Tool
🚫 Never send money directly to people online
⚠️ We cannot guarantee or verify unofficial transfers

Be aware, and if it seems illegitimate, it probably is! Protect yourself to have a great race experience! 🤍

As National Volunteer Week wraps up, we want to send all of the thank you’s to the incredible volunteers that come out and donate their time to support us at our races! 💙🧡

Did you know that we need over 5,500 volunteers a year to help host Canada Running Series events?! Most of these volunteer positions require early wake up times, lots of standing, and long hours to assist with things like Bag Check, Course Marshalling, Start Line, and everything in between.

We absolutely could not do this without our volunteer team, so be sure to give them a ‘thank you’ or give them a smile the next time you race with us. It goes a long way! 💙
