Sport Niagara is proud to partner with Row Ontario to bring the inaugural RowOn Indoor Hat Trick Regatta to Canada Games Park on Sunday, November 15, 2026.

Built around the number three, participants will take on three challenges:
💪 Peak Power — How much power can you produce?
⏱️ Three-Minute Test — How far can you go?
🔥 Step Up or Out — How long can you keep climbing?

“This innovative format is exactly the kind of event we want to help foster in our region; one that creates a meaningful competitive experience for athletes while also making the sport approachable for people who may be trying rowing for the first time.”

𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲.

Last night, Sport Niagara was proud to bring the Barbican executive team together for a corporate experience with a difference — their first opportunity to get on the ice and try sledge hockey.

Working alongside our 𝗡𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗛𝘂𝗯 (𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗛) division, the 𝗡𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 and 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗢𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼, the evening was about much more than learning a new sport. It was about experiencing firsthand the skill, determination and athleticism of adaptive sport — while building awareness, understanding and connection through participation.

There were plenty of laughs, a few fumbles, but most importantly, a greater appreciation for the power of inclusive sport.

Experiences like this are exactly what Team Niagara is about: bringing businesses, community organizations and sport partners together to create meaningful connections and help make sport more accessible and inclusive across Niagara.

A huge thank you to the Barbican team for embracing the experience, and to our NASH, Niagara Thunderblades Para Ice Hockey Team and ParaSport Ontario partners for helping make the evening possible.

When we get people off the sidelines and into the game, we don't just introduce them to a sport — we create new advocates for it.
