Wow. 2026!
What a year it was! First, THANK YOU! We hope you had fun, forged some friendships, and felt appreciated just for being wonderful, amazing you.
Second, a few members of our staff wanted to share their own thank you and reflections on this year:
Christa (Director of Guest Coordination/Chair):
Seeing people find connection, belonging, and joy at an event we are privileged enough to be able to provide is the greatest reward. We cannot thank you enough for your support as a community. Higher, further, faster.. and we want you all along for the ride into 2027!
Genaya (Programming Director/Vice Chair):
I would first like to thank everyone who applied to run a panel, event, or game this weekend. It takes a lot of work and courage to get up and share your passion with others, CaperCon wouldn't be what it is without you. I also want to thank the incredible community. The folks I had the pleasure of interacting with at con were just on another level! The care, respect, and love you show speaks volumes and reminds us why we do this. Thanks for the laughs, the commitment, and the joy you all bring.
Karen (Treasurer/Guest Coordinator):
Big thank you to our attendees, staff, volunteers, exhibitors and guests this year! So happy to see this community and event grow year after year and proud to be a part of it. Reaching for the stars in 2027!
Jackie (Administrative Coordinator):
This group of staff and volunteers is truly amazing. It takes a lot to create a jam-packed three days of fun and we hope we achieved that.
The attendees are amazing. To see everyone's happy faces is what we do this for, and will make us continue to do it year after year. Thank you all so much.
Brycen (Technical Operations and Logistics):
Thank you to everyone who attended this year's con in any capacity, you are the best group of kind and authentic individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working alongside! Being able to provide assistance in keeping your panels, Q&As, concerts, and dances running as smoothly as possible was no easy task, but it was absolutely worth the effort. Thank you again, I look forward to another record breaking year in 2027!
Matt (Guest Coordinator):
Thank you for your enthusiasm, support, and shared passion. It has made this experience truly memorable for me. Thanks for being the best attendees a con could ask for. Every guest always loves your hospitality and caring nature. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Sara (Volunteer Coordinator):
Our volunteers this year have shown a frankly inspirational amount of adaptability and resilience this weekend. I am so proud to have worked with each and every one of them, and I am incredibly excited to welcome them back next year to make CaperCon 2027 an even bigger and better experience for us all. For now, thank you all for making my 2026 return one for the books. Itβs been a blast.
Madonna (Cosplay Contest Coordinator):
It was an honour and joy to work with Flower aka CottageCosplay, who is as sweet and kind as her name. A big thanks to everyone behind the scenes like Brycon and the volunteers, as well as our MC Vaughn. Finally, a thanks to all who participated in the contest or came to watch and support these talented, creative and lovely cosplayers.
April (Exhibitor and Sponsorship Coordinator):
Thank you to our exhibitors and sponsors this year! They made the exhibitor floor a fun place to be and gave people the opportunity to support their local artists, makers, crafters and small businesses.
